Clearly humans as a group have a need for some sort of codified shared behavioural system, and that need manifested as traditional organised religion.

Your comment is ignorant and offensive. Traditional organized religions are not the only way to meet the need for a codified shared behavioral system. Atheists are just as capable of developing and adhering to such a system without resorting to religion. And the rise of wokism, trumpism, and other wingcuckeries is not due to the lack of traditional organized religions, but to the fact that those who espouse these ideologies are ignorant bigots who are more interested in promoting their own agendas than in actually making the world a better place for all.
