My opinion? (I think this is required per guidelines): Trump's stance regarding Russian aggression is concerning. He seems to view Russia's aggression towards the West as less of an issue than the military spending of other allied NATO member states (which are two distinct issues, IMO). In addition, I can't imagine any other candidate before the MAGA era being able to be so casually okay with Russia aggressively achieving their own geopolitical goals in spite of the US's own geopolitical interests.

This doesn't seem to actually capture what he said.

He didn't say he would encourage Russia to invade, he said that he was asked if a country were invaded and the country was "delinquent", he would encourage Russia to do whatever the heck they wanted.

Then he says "the money came flowing in" or something along those lines.

At least, according to the speech clips I watched, saying that he would encourage Russia to attack is misrepresenting what he actually said. I guess you could try to infer that the comments would encourage Russia to attack, but he followed them up with the "money came flowing in", which would suggest the threat worked and therefore the US would defend.

So if Russia wants to invade, he would encourage it. You're sort of playing semantics there.

That's literally not what was said though.

He said if Russia invaded that country that wasn't spending 2%, he wouldn't defend and tell them to do whatever they want. Then that country started spending 2%.

I don't agree with that tactic, if it's even true, but there's no need to misrepresent what was actually said.

As someone who lives in Europe and is much closer to the Russian threat, I have to say for the first time in my life that I no longer trust the US and I fear for the future.

Why? As long as your county is honoring their part of the NATO agreement, the US will honor theirs.

If they don't want to pay us for protection why should we be obligated to provide it?

NGL, I kinda like the idea of using Russia as a big stick to make sure we get paid. It's fricking genius but I'd expect nothing less from Trump.

I honestly do not know what people dislike about Biden.

His administration has done a fine job. If you want more left policy, you're going to have to elect left leaders in congress and win the house and senate.

What's lost in all the hysteria around this story is that it's a hollow threat since every NATO member which borders Russia pays the 2% minimum, and if the Russians ever successfully pull off a large-scale naval/air invasion I would recommend checking the sky for flying pigs.

He also accepts that his television career is over. Jeremy Clarkson has weighed and called it a witch-hunt against Schofield.

I'm not providing any commentary because the reason why is insights can occasionally differ from person to person, it's up for you to grasp intuitions and read up on it yourself except for one thing.

One thing I want to say about Rituals and where I differ from a lot of Mages, is that if you don't have a dagger, use your finger and imagine one. I want everyone to practice and memorize this ritual at least once a day.

I call it "the terminator". First I crouch down in the shower in the classic "naked terminator traveling through time" pose. With my eyes closed I crouch there for a minute, visualizing either Arnold or the guy from the second movie (not the chick in the third one because that one sucked) and I start to hum the terminator theme. Then I slowly rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me to proceed through my day as an emotionless, cyborg badass.
