There are several problems with putting a number on it:
Online dating makes asking out very easy, but has orders of magnitude lower success rate that falls exponentially with unattractiveness.
An autist will never have success asking women out in clubs or bars. You'll hate being there and gonna be very awkward. Sure, you could strategically try a few times to get a drunk skank, but I can't count the numbers of hours wasted in clubs being miserable and feeling even worse afterwards when I would go back home alone. I've even almost slightly roughed up once by multiple men when I approached the wrong woman, after that I stopped.
That said, you must definitely "try" somehow imo. Create some regular opportunities that at least make it plausible to get a gf. Every will use different tactics, here are what I'm currently angling for:
Befriend women or if that's infeasible, guys with gfs and be nice to their girlfriends too. Women will try to match you up
Utilize the mere-exposure effect. Join a club and attend regularly. If you are passionate about the activity, you might even climb in status and become locally attractive.
It took around 7 month at a club to get invited semi regularly to events, so it might definitely take some patience (and luck.)
