best friend, the one person 
who saw the best in me. If she finds me undateable then it's pretty 
much universal. I don't want to deal with rejection 
over and over again when I know what the outcome is going to be every time.
Frick, it's so sad. I didn't want things to go this way. I wanted the normie life with the wife and children 
but its NEVER going to happen. This is so depressing 
but I have to find the will to live regardless. Any others who have come to the realisation that nothing they try will work?

This is sad. I think I've said this before, but compared to 90% of other terminally online incels (sorry, almost literally everyone else on this hole), you have a really winning personality. You are clearly intelligent and introspective, you are not a violent misogynist (or if you are, you're self-aware enough to hide it effectively in your writing), you're curious about yourself and the world around you. At one point you managed to get into grad school, right? So you're not a total total frickup.
Without meeting you in person, it's hard to say exactly what your defect is. Being a manlet is a major handicap for sure, but it's not a terminal deficit. Have you ever talked to like, a life coach or a dating coach? I imagine you're crazy introverted and just freeze up without even talking to a girl, but there actually are exposure therapies that can help with that sort of social anxiety.
Get on that stoicism grind? Finding a decent combo of meds that work for you without addiction issues would probably be a good start, too.
