I don't know how fast acting it is, but the pharmacologists once came out with rimonabant, a cannabinoid receptor inverse agonist. Coarsely speaking, the opposite of weed. The theory was that weed makes you hungry, this anti-weed would make you lose your appetite and control obesity. Trials were unsuccessful since it also turned out as weed lifts your mood, rimonabant makes you suicidal.
