The funniest part about that is how they look at the exact same set of data that chuds used to prove the 2020 election was rigged and instead conclude that it means the 2024 election was rigged against themselves. Maybe, just maybe the single point of data that is massively incongruent with every previous election trend and that contradicts 95% of bellwether counties is the outlier and not a reliable expectation.

My state implemented really early voting this year, but they also implemented voter ID. I don't know why, but everyone from both parties was voting like weeks in advance, but since there's a voter ID law, you had to go in person and show your ID to someone to even be allowed to use the drop boxes for your mailed ballot. People were waiting in line 2 or 3 hours to vote a week before. Meanwhile, on election day, I just walked in, voted, and walked out in less than 5 minutes.

Thoughts? Her campaign inherited a frickton of money from the Biden run, raised even more from her deep-pocket friends, and blew through it like a hurricane through the Gulf Coast, leaving the DNC in debt.
Not a ton of debt, relatively speaking, but nobody knows where the heck the money went, and more importantly, she lost. If she had won, being in debt for $20 million would be nothing. But she lost, and lost badly, and the party have now lost the White House, the Senate, and the House (looks like).
Fingers are being pointed and blame is being shifted around. She pretty much has no career left in the party now, so she's dependent on friends and allies there to get her a plum job doing nothing for a big salary on some board or non-profit. Hence she needs to account for "where did the money go?" Hence the desperation to fund raise and pay back at least some of that debt.
There's also mild insinuations of the usual sort of bribery, which may be business as usual for turning out the black vote, but doesn't look good for the party of transparency and openness, and looks even worse when that vote wasn't delivered:
The Dems are beholden to big name, deep-pocket donors, and those donors are not happy about where their money went, so Harris has to explain what happened and make up any shortfall, if possible, to keep them happy. Otherwise the next time the party goes round with the begging bowl, those donors are going to keep their wallets closed.
The irony is that Hillary's campaign made the same mistake: bragged about how they were out-raising Trump, how he'd have to drop out of the campaign because all the big donors were going to the Democratic candidate, and that they would easily out-spend them. We all know how that went.
Harris' campaign did the same thing: 'we've got so much more money than Trump!' and look how that turned out for them. Hillary and Biden both have ties to the party going back years and a network of connections, so they were protected somewhat. Kamala has nothing - she came out of California and got the pick because she was a black woman. The Biden administration needed a DEI hire, but she wasn't expected to do anything or go anywhere. Now she was shot down in flames, and she has no party backers to protect her, hence the desperate begging emails.
Better go harvest those coconuts and see if you can sell them, huh?
