I've recommended this show a few times in threads when people have asked for really good TV but my comments never got much traction. I'm hoping this does, because this show is a GREAT mix of sci-fi (which tried to remain "hard / grounded" in its execution) and Le Carre spy thriller. It stars JK SIMMONS, fresh off his Oscar win for Whiplash, and is really good. Only lasted two seasons but manages to wrap up the main story kind of like Carnivale (another show you MUST WATCH if you've never heard of it; HBO starring Nick Stahl)

Did you also appreciate that they made the "traversal" as unremarkable as they did? And then in S2 we see they house "travelers" in cages for processing like at an actual border? Man, if this show came out NOW???

It really did but man, those two seasons were KINO. I don't blame Starz at all- they took a gamble and really put everything they had into it. I am just happy we got it
