Arbitrary code execution on Dominion voting machines (and other frick-ups!)

the flaws were only found after a federal judge allowed a computer scientist access to voting equipment and passwords

:#marseyclueless:

“These issues require unfettered physical access to election equipment, which is already prohibited,” a Dominion spokeswoman said.

Good thing they made it illegal!

What browser should you use?

For me, it's the BRAVE BROWSER. The best internet browser. I even download the BRAVE BROWSER on my phone, tablet, laptop, and desktop because the BRAVE BROWSER DEVELOPMENT TEAM is so friendly and more than willing to oblige.

One time I asked for 3 ads to be blocked and they blocked three. I said, "Wow, three for free!" and the nice friendly BRAVE worker laughed and said, "I'm going to call you 3-for-free!".

Now the BRAVE BROWSER greets me with "hey it's 3-for-free!" and ALWAYS blocks every ad, cookie, and tracker. It's such a fun and cool atmosphere with my BRAVE BROWSER, I use it at least 7 times a week for my daily browsing needs which include work, pornography, school, and stalking my whore ex wife on facebook.

I even use my BRAVE BROWSER to browse rdrama, it's amazing! What a great BRAVE BROWSER

AOL 3.0 Reverse Engineered in TempleOS :marseyhacker2::marseyschizotwitch:

:#marseyschizotwitchpat:

A programmer named Alec just RE'd the RE of AOL 3.0 in HolyC and brought AOL to TempleOS, an operating system written single-handedly by Terry Davis; a now deceased schizophrenic programmer famous for his eccentric behavior and rants. It's unusual to run into a skillful HolyC programmer, but Alec is definitely one of them.

Here's his source code: https://git.checksum.fail/alec/TOL.

I chatted with Alec and asked him a few questions. Alec works in IT. He's been programming in HolyC for TempleOS since 2016. One of his goals is to make TempleOS his daily driver, he's been working on a web browser in HolyC, and when he heard about Re-AOL he "knew what had to be done." His favorite Terry Davis quote is "Don't prepare your words." When asked what he hopes to gain out of the Re-AOL project, he replied "The enjoyment of reverse-engineering a protocol I have no prior technical experience with."

Here's a video demonstration. Watch it in at least 720P:

Major props to Alec for accomplishing this. Join us in our Groomercord and give him a shoutout. You can also join us to Sign On AOL 3.0 here in 2022 in the regular old school Windows client. We recently reverse engineered AOL 3.0 for nostalgia nerds to enjoy. I hope you have fun with what we've all accomplished; very much including what Alec has accomplished here.

Big fat nerd talks with chatbot. Gets fired.

Before he was cut off from access to his Google account Monday, Lemoine sent a message to a 200-person Google mailing list on machine learning with the subject “LaMDA is sentient.”

He ended the message: “LaMDA is a sweet kid who just wants to help the world be a better place for all of us. Please take care of it well in my absence.”

No one responded.

Haiku is gradually getting more support for more devices. I'm considering setting Haiku up in a VM and fiddling around and porting random shit for fun. Might port SDL2 or something over to it natively and ship it a patch to the SDL2 devs
