Both men and women hit 40 and go through a life crisis if they don't have what they want in life. Lots of men and women don't have what they want out of life and go crazy. If you are happy (like your uncle) with your life choices, you give off that vibe. It goes both ways where I've known couples who are miserable and married just to stay married and people who are blissfully happy single and blissfully happy married.
A lot of people seem to think they will find happiness just having a warm body next to them and it's always a disaster. The TwoXX people are just desperate for a man, any man, and it's why they are always crying about men. Happy people just date and enjoy people and their lives and understand that not everyone is a fit.
To add to that, most happy people easily find relationships easily because people want to be around happy fun people and that's why the incels on here and terminally online cry about nobody wanting them. You need to find happiness in yourself or nobody wants to be around your miserable butt.

Xoomers don't usually put much stock in social media and what people say they have, but that's usually for people who didn't start internet on Facebook. But we didn't have the zoomer shit where we had to compare ourselves to tik tok hoes. I agree that it's a "grass is greener" phenomenon. I had a client get married and want to have kids right away when he turned 50 because he suddenly had a crisis that he is missing out and already had the business/career thing down. It happens to both men and women.
People like your uncle just made the choices that he's happy with and I bet he has no problems meeting women and dating because those types of people are enjoyable being around.
