I have an M&P Shield for carry, it's nice and slim. The M&P 2.0 is decent but has a meh trigger by default, and the glock 19 is always a good price for quality and easy to maintain.

Yeah, the shield is basically what I'm looking for. I just want something small and i can defend myself with. I live in the ghetto but I'm not involved in gang shit and befriended enough neighbors and walk enough that people know i actually live here and feel safe walking to the store at 3am. That's why they should get a sling bag specifically made for concealed carry. They have a zippered compartment where your gun is holstered. Any time I stop for gas I open the zip so I can reach in should I need it.

Sometimes I carry inside waistband and that makes things even simpler.
