Reviews say it's a very good remake and the original is one of those "all time classics" i never got round to playing. Should I spend 7 bananas on this?

Anyone who tells you the first is bad is a contrarian butthole (very common with dramatards).
If the reviews are saying it’s a good remake, I’d say pick it up. The original was a great game followed by a great sequel followed by a mediocre third installment.
