i played that up until i collected all the book powers in the beginning then quit, it was really dragging. Did i stop right before the game gets good or something? i was doing all the sidequests maybe that was the prob

Some of the side quests are garbage. I just do the ones I want to do.
I do think the game picks up shortly after that point. It’s definitely a slow burn.
