Doing the usual otherwise: grinding main/gimp in osrs, Project Cars 2 career mode, with randoms other games mixed in there (currently Starsector and Dward Fortress)
Looking forward to WoW Classic Era hardcore servers this summer tho. Might no life that if anyone wants to join
Also can you explain to me in normal person terms what I should be doing very early game. Everything is slow as shit but I accidentally got a double golden cookie and it pretty much tripled my bank in 10 seconds
Early game just click golden cookies when you can. The only thing that should at all be complicated for you is trying to decide when to ascend (look up a guide to see what you want to unlock on your first ascension). It’s probably taken me ~1-2 years on this save but the only thing that’s really making the game drag out is sugar lumps, also imported to steam from browser so idk when I started that. With sugar lumps (appears after first ascension, I think), you unlock a lot of ways to improve your numbers.
It's been a while so that might not be new. In my humble opinion, focus on the garden now that you have those two up. Pantheon gives you nothing for leveling it up once you unlock and the grimoire is best used to spawn golden cookies to increase combos. Frick the stock market, ain't no one like that

Finally got my PC running how I want it to (frick BTRFS, it's such a slow PoS), finally gave Pop_OS a shot and it's running great despite being GNOME based.
Now that my install is working great, I've started downloading and playing a bunch of PC games.
Missed out on the big Trove update last year so I need to catch up with all the new stuff. The new Warframe update apparently sucks (like all of them for the past 4 years) but I'm still going to give it a chance.
Got Luck be a Landlord & Monster Train for about $5 each from Fanatical, got Morrowind, Oblivion, and ESO for $10 total, and got TES V Anniversary Edition for $16. Need to try all these games out.
Luck be a Landlord is fricking great for playing while you're watching/listening to something, I usually play it while listening to a podcast or audiobook
Also a tip for cheap games, I have been using those steam key sites for the past few months, never had an issue and they are always cheaper than steam, even when something is on sale. Just gotta come to terms with the fact that you're buying steam keys that were bought with stolen credit cards

Tbh the sketchy key sites aren't much cheaper than the legit key sites like Fanatical and Green Man Gaming that I don't really bother. It's just easier to not have to deal with the potential trouble for what amounts to about a 50¢ difference.
Also, if I'm being really cheap, why would I bother to pay at all? Developers have said they'd rather people pirate than go through sketchy key sites, and who am I to go against saving more money?

I got some downtown coming up so I'm trying out several games that I either just got on sale or have had around in my library unplayed for yours.
A Legionary's Life - A simple game but enjoyable and it really does a great job of putting you in the mindset of someone in ancient Rome. If you do stupid risky things and don't stick with your unit, you'll exactly face consequences really fast. And it has a great deal of replayablity.
Shadow Empire - A huge sprawling 4X game with many layers of complexity, but it actually comes together pretty nicely.
Interstellar Space: Genesis - The worthy successor to Master of Orion 2 that I've been waiting for for 25 years. So many attempts have been made, but this is the first to surpass it.
Encased - Isometric RPG. Seems like an interesting setting.
Amazing Cultivation Simulator - Wuxia Rimworld. It's going to take me a lot of learning as I was not Assigned Asian at Birth, but I'll play it if only to see how they make a game out of building up your chi.
Sim Airport - Prison Architect but for airports. I like it but eventually you run out of stuff to do.
Cattails - Silly dumb little game about being a cat.
1971: Indian Naval Front - I got this to impress @Sasanka_of_Gauda but I can't get past the first mission.
Command & Conquer Remastered - Heh. That was a good game.
The Case of the Golden Idol - It's much like Return of the Obra Dinn, a game where you actually really have to solve mysteries. A new DLC just came out.
Seems interesting, the CFS 2 and naval missions in CFS 3 were some of my favourites and the flight portions at least look similar though better graphics of course. Added to my to play list.
The dev company is pretty new Did they ship a game of that quality in just 3 years? !bharatiya check this out.
The Pocket Mirror Remake! I hyperfixated on the original back in 2016 so I’m very excited to see how this one will go. I’m honestly surprised just how much I remember from the original…like down to random NPC dialogue. Anyways they’ve cut some stuff so I’m hopeful they’ve made Harpae’s area shorter bc it was a drag in the original.

Zelda. It grew on me fast after the shitty tutorial. I spent the first like 4.5 days in the Depths and then remembered the rest of the game existed. Absolutely blown away by the amount of game here. Some random sky island I fell onto had a Sled Shield and I learned shield surfing is a thing and it had a big ramp and jump leading into a glowing ring and then the last like mile to the ground for a freefall. So I did it and then landed and then there was this out of nowhere like snowboarding course down a mountain with glowing rings to go through? And then at the end it unlocked a shrine. I didn’t even intend to land on that little island to begin with.
They don’t have as many “in-box” weapons you want to keep around anyway and that sounds bad at first but it works so well. I thought it was stupid they made all the old op swords in the original game weaker but it means you’re more willing to not get attached to them and instead make your own cool shit and there’s a lot more materials to make cool weapons everywhere.
shit neighbor you could probably run pretty much anything @ 1440p 140hz high graphics or better with that
off the top of my head if I was test driving it I'd try Poral RTX, Warhammer 3 or a similar complex RTS/4X game, Crysis 2/3, Elite Dangerous, Project Cars2/Forza 7&Horizon4, CoD MW2/Battlefield 1, No Man's Sky
Get a VR headset too, that thing could probably push any <1k headset to it's limit
All the new resident evils are slam dunks, RE7, RE8, RE2R, RE3R, RE4R etc. and you can push the performance/fidelity on them to match your screen resolution/hz to bring your system to it's knees. That newer cat game Stray is great. Also RDR2, God of War, and Cyberpunk 2077.
