Hoping for some good summer sales on pc parts so I can build a new computer and play Diablo 4 or Warhammer 3 on gigamaxx settings. But for now it’s just been WoW Classic, OSRS, and Project Cars 2
I finished playing through all of the remastered halo games in the master chief collection (except 4, which i played when it first came out and have zero interest in ever playing again), and am now replaying halo:reach. It is far and away the best halo game, and pretty much the only one I hadn't played when it came out.
It's not as bad a fallout new Vegas fan boys claims. It has a denser map imo so its much more fun to frick off and explore and not just see sand. Kino way to play is Tale of 2 wastlands and a perk per level mod since it combines both games and it's more fun that way.
i played with my weiner today. it got kind of roughed up from some intense fricking a few days ago, so i had to give it a few days off and put aveeno on it once a day. seemed to go alright with a TON of lube, so hopefully in 2-3 days ill be back on track!
-Food has a lifespan of only a few day unless preserved or keep in a cellar,
-crops take many irl hour to actually grow, full on months and seasons,
-you have to rotate crop fields because they will drain the soil of certain nutrients overtime
-it takes 5+ hour to get to the point where you can even mine stone
-lots of animal you need to learn to avoid since they can 3 shot you early on
It's really tough but fair and really rewarding, never before in my life can I say I've been proud of finally building a shitty dirt hut with 5 days worth of food and a small farm in a video game, but Vintage Story makes it feel like a massive accomplishment lol
How do you deal with the zombie equivalents? I've tried to get into it a couple times, but I always get through one day before getting fricked over by those things.
Right I've gotten to the point of bedding away for the night, but then in the morning they don't burn away or anything so it seems like I have to fight em. What am I doing wrong? Am I just impatient and r-slurred?

simcity 4 again. Also made an attempt at starting Disco Elysium. Also shitty KMMOs( ) and some stuff I picked up on the steam summer sale, which I haven't assessed yet, excepting Anno 1800. It's a fascinating game in so many ways. Pure globohomo kino, so IG I'm glad ubi came crawling back.

Been playing God Hand; I have been wanting to get into games that I missed out on, and I literally missed the entirety of the PS2. I had a gamecube and xbox, then a wii, so I just never got around to it
God Hand has been fricking amazing, it's immediately obvious that the quality of the game rests purely on the gameplay, because there's seemingly only like a handful of enemy models and music tracks, so the combat really needs to impress (which it absolutely does). I'm only a few hours in but I totally get why it's a cult classic
After this, I'm thinking I'll either play Silent Hill 2 or Fatal Frame, because I also completely missed both of those franchises. I know SH2 is supposed to be goated, and it's getting a remaster/remake, so playing the OG seems like a good idea
Fatal Frame is a game that sounds very cool in theory, but (at least for me) gets very boring in the middle due to all the take-picture-of-ghost-and-door-opens-somewhere chores.

Still Bloodborne. I play in short bursts here and there and this game still has boss runs and shit so it's more time consuming than it seems. I'm ashamed to admit that I looked up how to find several areas. I'm kind of lazy about playing ng cycles. And I fricked up majorly recently by summoning the Madara twin in the dlc, and then summoning Valtr. I summoned the first guy out of curiosity and I summoned Valtr because he's based. I was too r-slurred to send the twin back, which in turn made Ludwig a shitter gankfest. I absolutely ruined what was definitely the best fight I've seen up to this point. Chalice dungeons kind of suck but I do like the concept. Overall great game and I wish it was longer.
I've been struggling to get through Original Sin 1 for over a year now off-and-on, I like the systems but the pacing is dogshit and makes it a slog. I've heard the second is better. I really liked the Shadowrun games but I also have a lot of nostalgia for the pen and paper game so I might overrate them a bit, still solid TRPGs though.
thanks for the info. i would really recommend disco elysium, superb writing, gameplay is pretty much just rolls for checks and exploration. but the va and writing elevates it to my probably favorite game. also underrail, unique world and cool ideas executed well. can be pretty hard, in fact the hardest dungeon is in the first act. expect to look up builds or retrying a couple times. the final act is a bit of a slog. much like torment, investing in will/wisdom gives you the most content.
my foid plays sims 4 like 8 hours a day sometimes. I wish she would play that one instead so she stops spending so much money. Sims 5 is going to bankrupt me
I just finished playing No Straight Roads. It's a 3d action rhythm game thats unfortunately kind of mediocre. You play as a rock band living in a city ruled by EDM DJs, and lead a revolution after rock music is banned. Each DJ has a boss battle and theme, and over the course of the fight you do a tug of war with them where you try and turn it into a rock song and they try to keep it as an EDM song. I found out about it through the soundtrack and I finally bought the game while it was on sale.
As a game, it's really barebones. It's just 6 boss fights and some minor stages. It's really short too. But the soundtrack is excellent.
Replaying soy of war ragingcök, it's even worse than I remembered. Combat can be fun at times but the cutscenes and the atreus sections are unbearable. The first time around I didn't notice just how shitty the voice acting is (except for kratos, odin and atreus' black gf).
Monkey Island was one of @Bussy-boy's fav games as a kid, but @Bussy-boy don't know if @Bussy-boy can muster up enough nostalgia too actually get through it. @Bussy-boy is curious too see how they made it.
Mortal Kombat was one of @Bussy-boy's fav fighting games as a kid, and @Bussy-boy think @Bussy-boy is gonna enjoy the heck out of MK1. Looking forward too some couch co-op with some of the guys when @Bussy-boy's pre-order copies arrive.

Bought a Steam Deck and beat RE2 over the weekend. No complaints about the deck itself - it's a very comfy way to play games while lying on the bed. I encountered a couple of minor ui bugs, of which the most annoying ones are:
the Steam menu not showing up - you can hear the navigation sounds, but it is like the steam overlay got stuck behind the game window. Fixed after a reboot
If the game uses multiple windows to do transparency effects (e.g. RE2 cutscenes where a vhs is playing) you get a static color test pattern instead. Not a deal breaker in RE2, but it prevented me from playing Endless Space 2 because it messes up the management screens.

Played more Far Cry 6 with a friend. Nothing new to say about that one; it's painfully mediocre.
But I finally got around to getting the updated version of Warcraft 3, so I've been playing a shitload of that. Perhaps the best single player RTS campaign? Though my micro game is weak, so managing all those spells and abilities is a bit tricky for me. As far as I can tell, Reforged edition is pretty much just a graphics update; the gameplay seems identical to the original release - including some quirks that I wish they had addressed. I don't think much of anything was done to improve the engine. Encountered a couple of CTDs as well, which was annoying. Plus there doesn't appear to be cloud saves, which is a weird omission.
Undead is a super fun faction to play. Using necromancers to throw endless waves of skeletons at the enemy doesn't get old.
Will never understand how people can fall in line for OSRS, its all such a massive grind even for just dumb shit. At least in wow xp is either character or profession and its easy to max out quick but god darn osrs is just insane. Its like 60 hours nonstop to max out 1 of 23 skills.
I think that's kinda the point, it's a huge grind but once you do it or reach a goal, you're set. Don't have to worry about expansions or things becoming obsolete (other than new skilling methods coming out). It's a flex game
and yes I know it's not a good flex but it's rewarding for drug addicts/depressed people. Also 60 hours to max a skill is like absolute speedrun on the easiest one doing a method they only recently added that was generally regarded as completely broken

I finished my Dark Souls 2 run. Still love that game to bits, even after replaying ER and DS3. Shoutout to the people still putting down summon signs in DS2.
Although I'm almost Soulsed out, I continued backward through the series to DS1. I think 1 might actually be the easiest if you know what you're doing. I've made very quick progress, and even soloed Ornstein and Smough my first try (if messily). This time I mixed up my run a bit by exploring the Catacombs and rescuing Reah before Sen's Fortress. I also joined the Warriors of Sunlight and took some time to help people gank the Gargoyles, Quelaag, and O+S.
