A bunch of SanFran Wokesoy fricks made the new reboot protags into the most mild unganglike losers ever to feature in any crime-drama media ever created. It was like the fricking directors didn't comprehend the Saints, didn't understand the themes, didn't realize the Saints still are the badguys even if they are the protagonists, and probably literally didn't even play a singe Saints game before undertaking the R*PE 
of the franchise.

It was the last one that really focused on gang warfare that was GTA-esq but more whimsical and fun. SR3 strayed from that a bit by facing off against a mega corporation mostly but maintaining the fun factor + more minigames and multiplayer. After that it kept straying further and further away from the core concept with a bunch of bullshit nobody asked for.
Now SR is about... some leftoid queeroid college roommates that need to rob payday loan offices for rent? What the frick?
