What I found out reading about this is that C&C Generals ZH is supposed to get a new (official) patch after 20 years. lol.

I'm subscribed to some C&C Generals YouTubers, and while I'm not actively watching them I checked on them after hearing this news.

When I get my laptop going next week, maybe.
I haven't played multiplayer in 15+ years, and despite having ~2k hours in this game I certainly suck at PvP.
Also, I'm unsure but I think the Steam version still may require you to use unofficial servers.
