I've meet a couple, and it crazy because all you have to do is not click the fake download button, and even if you do it's pretty easy to delete malware. One was even into digital art, like how can you do digital art but yet not know how to manage downloads and files on the internet
If you are under the age of 50 and don't understand how to not get viruses it's over for you. I swear they are like the young equivalent of boomers who think you need an anti-virus for a computer to function.

Yes lol, I swear Steam has made around 50% of g*mers unable to do any vaguely techy stuff, they only know how to buy on Steam or (((((Epic))))).
I promise if you gave a random sample of PC g*mers a link with an adfly advert in it, exactly 50% of them would click the adfly download button

I've also met so many people who love the idea of modding a game until they realize they have to go into their steam game file directory to change things

This is why Bethesda's Creation Club was actually incredibly profitable even on PC, where you'd expect people would know how to download a modloader.
Just as the IPhone ruined all social medias, Steam has ruined all PC gaming!

It's crazy, as convenient as modern modlaunchers (official or not) are, it has made me realize that you don't deserve to have mods if you aren't willing to troubleshoot it, and give up at any error that happens.

I play Assetto Corsa, which is basically a platform for mods at this point. The number of people who can't figure out stuff like copy/pasting files or can't be bothered to troubleshoot even when an error message very explicitly tells them what they need to do is frustrating.
