It's a disingenuous argument they're using as an excuse to complain about something else. Shadows even has a popup on your screen telling you it's disrespectful to climb on the shrines.

no way lmao

I only want it to fail the same way I wanted Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky to fail.

I hate lazy and overtly deceptive business practices and want to see companies that partake in them die embarrassing deaths.

There was some Soulslike that I played a little bit of and you were a white guy in Japan named William and everyone calls you Rirriam and it's pretty funny.

Fun fact the dude in Nioh was actually a real guy. Not like a weird straggy "he was totally real guys" real guy.

Also the giant Bong dude in Sekiro that you can't block or damage and have to kick off a bridge is likely the most accurate portrayal of Bong contact with Japan in all of fiction.

The European broadsword and full plate armor (due to Europes easy access to iron and coal that wasn't fricking awful) cucked Japan so hard they created anime.

>Every AC game has a splash screen saying it's a work of fiction.

Which they incuded since the first game because the religion of peace gets a little "testy" when it comes to them.
