Maybe in the UI? The characters and levels are just fine. I wouldn't call it amazing, serviceable yeah. There's so many other games that should have a chance over that shit.

At the very least it's open world is far more interesting than TotK. Sure it's a beautiful world but it's functionally empty compared to other games.

I personally play 3d Zelda for a satisfying cinematic 30-45 hour fairly-condensed adventure, Botw and Totk stretches it's interesting content across way to much repetitive tasks and traveling

The shrines in particular could have been condensed into a few interesting dungeons instead of spread out all over the world. I never played ToTK, too much about BotW either bored or frustrated me so I never bothered.

Ah OK lol, that makes sense. Agreed though, the world is wide as an ocean, deep as a puddle. It's an impressive world and there's a real sense of scale. But that's like all there is to it outside of some small distractions.

Yeah, I replayed Majoras Mask via the PC port after Totk and it impressive me how densely packed interesting side content was in that games versus Tears having you do a random copy paste bokoblin camp or sign-man puzzle for like 70% of your game time

GTA V was shit and I couldn't play it for more than 10 hours it was so fricking boring.

The missions were butt, the characters were butt, the soundtrack was godawful and the worst of any GTA i've played. I really don't have high hopes for VI.

That being said, it's still not most overrated. That 100% belongs to Star Citizen.

Nah, there's plenty of games that are infinitely more overrated. Most indie darlings, darn near every GOTY, every FOTM game, and so on.

Personally? I'd put Nier: Automata as most overrated.
