Healthier foods tend to have less calories per pound so that goes a long way towards filling you up without needing 4000 calories. A lb of chicken breast has the same number of calories as a half pound of ground beef. you'd probably need to eat 4 lbs of spinach to eat the same number of calories as that one lb of chicken breast. All of these are the same amount of calories, but obviously will leave you with different feelings of fullness.

Fr sometimes I make a big salad for dinner (I love fresh veggies
) and the salad I have to make to get enough calories is massive. I'm straight up not convinced you can fit enough veggies in yourself to get obese. Like yeah portions matter but if you restrict your diet to actual healthy foods it's insanely easy to not overeat.
But these "people" legit stuff themselves with the junkest of junk food and wonder why dieting is so hard.

Underemployment causes poverty, not overemployment. The poors probably average 32 hours a week.
Honestly though, the middle aged guy I know working rotating shifts labouring at a chicken processing plant to provide for his three kids, I can understand why he has a hefty gut and got fat. Sometimes you're in such a shit situation in life that you just blob out with nasty food and beer when you get some time off. It's not inevitable, but it's understandable how it happens.
If we're honest about it, we can identify risk groups for obesity like him.
