I'm pretty leftist on economics (I'm literally a stupidpol user) but Redditors have the ability to blame everything on capitalism and really cheapen legit criticisms of capitalism and neoliberalism. It's really the fault of the vast majority of American leftists being failed PMC who did not get the elite college degree jobs they were promised and are incredible neurotic. It also ends up making economic leftism look like an ideology of weak, learned helplessness (not entirely wrong) which ends up pushing more men into the right-wing as they end up looking like the side of masculinity, stoicism, and self-sufficiency.

As a neolibroid myself, it's really true. I think it's the elite overproduction hypothesis manifest. It's pervasive on Reddit because it caters to that mentality. I think the same thing happened in my homeland or /r/nl back in 2020. The succs of reddit invaded, held a coup and now it's a gangbang of whining. Inflation definitely btfo the AOC and MMT simps, but overall it's a Progressive sub anymore. Because there are genuine critiques of capitalism, and part of that is finding solutions to those critiques other than handling the means of production over to a vanguard of part time dog walkers.

Yeah and they're typically seeking validation from those bullying them and don't want to just not be bullied, they also want to be alongside the bullies picking on another kid. Most bullied kids go off and find another more vulnerable type to punch down on, typically an r-slured kid.

I don't know, if you go to a non-shit school the actual unfair bullying does get sorted out by teachers or parents, but the type where the kid legitimately brings it on himself doesn't.

Love Redditors making out like their inability to thrive during one of the most prosperous and easy periods since the dawn of man is somehow related to a moral choice they make to be "decent human beings".

They believe it's the bullying trait that causes prosperity. It's not.
