You make it sound like they're not allowed to frick. They can frick each other as much as they want. Just you as an adult should stay out of that business.

How am I being obtuse? You're mature enough at that age for adult interactions at work, when buying or selling things, joining up for the military when the recruiter comes to school, and so on. Why is it an issue when it comes to this one thing?

Because being exploited in order to make you buy a couch or whatever tends to carry less severe damages than getting sexually exploited, I guess.
And when it comes to the whole military thing, that's your burger-specific autism and in my view really more of an issue with the military and not an argument for lower AoC.

Nobody is getting severely damaged having s*x at an age where most people have s*x. You need to touch grass.

You need to talk with more people who were taken advantage of sexually at a young age by someone much older.
Also the fricking hilarity of telling me to touch grass while arguing that really, fricking kids isn't all that bad. Take that opinion out into the world of grass-touchers, see how that plays out.

You're trying to treat two completely different things like they're the same. How are you being taken advantage of sexually when you're old enough to have s*x unless you're being coerced or trafficked? "Hey, this person knows how too be appealing and get laid. YOU'RE BEING R*PED SO HARD IF YOU SLEEP WITH THEM!"

You know enough to handle most parts of adulthood by that age--- at least, people have always been able to until we decided nobody ever really grows up. Again, why is it this one specific thing that gets this response? Nobody is traumatized at that age unless something terrible is forced on them, or they have some sort of intellectual deficit.

12 year old generally don't start having s*x all on their own, and don't do any adult things like someone the age we're talking about would. The thing that would make 12 objectionable is completey absent.
