I didnt like biden but my 401k misses him.

The instability, the trumpflation - really not good for folks that enjoy the market.

Who the frick doesn't put their retirement in funds or something like VOO? What kind of stupid fricking mutant ugly r-slur who smells bad puts 90% of their retirement in standard stocks?

It's fine to do that but you have to diversify. No single stock should make up more than 5-10% of your portfolio.

Imagine not throwing >50% of your portfolio at nano cap biotech firms ngmi

It's fine to do that

Not for 99% of the population who could never hope to outcompete a cheap-as-shit Fidelity or Blackrock ETF especially when they get charged a 2-4bps per-instrument spread to rebalance. The only reason to stockpick is if you want to larp as Jordan Belfort while working as a walmart shelf stacker at age 32

Oh I agree 100%. I started off buying individual stocks but I gave up because it was too much work and switched to index funds. Just looking at this post you can tell pizza is one of those 99%. What he's doing is basically just gambling.

looks like a target date retirement fund. i'm not smart enough to know anything about the individual funds in question, but i personally think 25% in bonds is high, unless maybe you're in your 40s or something. but you're posting here so i doubt it. everybody has different risk tolerance though and if you're really risk averse it's not really a wrong choice

here's a forum of people smarter than me talking about how much bonds they want :marseyshrug:

It probably is a target date thing. I'm mid 30s and sick of everything

It's decent but the more diversity the better, if this is all you invest in I'd spread it around more

Some of the monkeys on this site are just smart enough to know economy is an important word.

And the more you use it, the better your argument :marseybrainlet:

Please do not use the word 'monkey' in a derogatory sense during Donkey Kong December. I WILL ping jannies and you WILL be banned for Kongmisia. :marseydisagree:

But Kong is a superior ape and monkeys (like @Holly_Jolly_Kong) are inferior life forms.

So it's actually a more relevant insult during DKD
