Um akshually jews and cars to blame:
Maybe you shouldn't order a private taxi for your burrito if you need interest free installments to pay for it

Maybe you should look into car affordability in 2025.

Walmart delivers.

Get some ground beef, tortillas, pinto beans, cheese and make 10x the burritos for the same cost.
Maybe we need a strong currency instead of goy bucks https://t.co/E4mSMLWsN3

Hey r-slurs, you know you can order groceries right?
I honestly would love to know how much damage door dash/uber eats has done to poors.

I used to argue about this, but then I realized that being poor is a direct consequence of being stupid, and people who aren't stupid aren't poor because they make sensible financial decisions.

i dont think so, this was just doordash. i cant find it rn but there's a graph of all income levels and how often they order uber eats/door dash and the lowest income brackets had the highest rate, the middle brackets had average rates, and the rich also had pretty high rates too. so both the poorest and richest were ordering at the highest rates.
i think the "below 70k" thing is kind of misleading, from what I remember the highest rates were 25-30k.

doordash has most of the market, uber eats is maybe like 30% and stalled at taking more
that article is just last year, and so is quite recent.
poors tend to do so b/c of lack of good transit. cars aren't really that cheap either.
also i wonder how many are using some kinda poor benies.
i know uber/dd advocate to try to get govt gibs on their service, they were always talking about it when i worked there.

You are absolutely correct.
I have some chicken marinating for a new recipe I'm trying tonight. However just to stunt on poors I'm going to order Doorslop instead because unlike Dashcels, I'm not too broke to afford it. I just understand what a terrible value proposition it is.

If these people had cars they would just be driving to McDonald's instead of doordashing, cooking isn't even an option to them.
