Good news, everyone, my 18-year-old says the economy is fine. He knows this because he owns some stocks. His mother, who works in finance, is NOT an expert and has no idea what she's talking about (despite talking about it being her job) so please calm down, he says all is well.

Imagine bitching on the internet about your 18 year old son at 46.
He's fine with stocks being down because he can get into the market at a young age, and that's a bad thing actually?
For an an apparent expert at banking, the fact that she doesn't encourage her own child to invest in stocks when there's a dip so he could become financially independent is baffling. She's upset that he's independently interested in a topic she's supposedly very knowledgeable in.
