The funny thing is Trump himself doesn't seem that interested in Twitter at this point. He's more interested in bragging about the Truth Social that nobody uses. Musk probably will allow Trump back on but that might actually benefit the left as Trump's tweets were used to increase liberal voting engagement in 2018 and 2020. I think that the left is ridiculously hysterical over this. Realistically I see a wave of right-wing accounts and that's it tbh. Musk is like that where he exaggerates his promises. Like he will ease up on the censorship but I think that after a few months he'll switch primarily to trying to make Twitter actually be profitable for once. Musk does advocate free speech but he's also a grifter at times. Twitter will become more like how it was in 2017 where you can find content from across the political spectrum. Crazy how leftists think that Musk buying Twitter will be game over for them yet when Trump was on and active dems won both 2018 and 2020. People are exaggerating the political impact of Twitter in America, it's just an echo chamber much of the time. I think Musk could help make Twitter become profitable by monetizing the echo chamber and allowing more political views to be expressed.
