Limit social media consumption as much as possible, but recognize that you cannot eliminate it altogether
Based and actually great advice
Pay attention to the comments you make about your own bodies in front of your children and the attitudes toward exercise and food you're displaying. Be mindful of the kinds of messages your kids are getting from their entertainment and social media activity.
Don't shame your kids for eating an entire box of Swiss Rolls, chud
Comment sections also expose posters and viewers to harsh critiques about people's bodies, which can fuel more insecurity and low self-esteem.
Very interesting how wanting to work out and feel better is a harmful social contagion
but
ing out
absolutely is not

The patriots love talking about sending people to gitmo. Usually also involving military tribunals and firing squads.
Mayorkas should be the first in line, send that traitor back to his homeland.
Now we gotta invade Mexico and anyone we pick up who might be involved with a cartel is going to gitmo.
I think this ties in to the EO designating the cartels as terrorists as well. You wouldn't just pick up narcos in Houston or Phoenix and dump them back in Northern Mexico to keep operating. They're part of a terrorist network now. Especially any the USSF have to kidnap in Mexico. Lol You take them straight to Guantanamo.
People arguing for a Stalin purge (even the doctors), many such examples
Now time for the politicians.
Fauci first. he isn't immune from deportation
And generals and doctors
Mass flights to gitmo means plenty of cover to also yoink some of the usual suspects and toss them there too hiding it under the stream of flights.
And jews!
Someone notices
Sounds more like a cultural revolution than progress at that point comrade.
Yes, this is a coup. We're taking our country back.

NMEC plans to comply with DOJ threats. This email was sent out Wednesday night to staff, but it noticeably doesn't mention anything specifically about LGBTQIA+ kids or DOJ, just general compliance with executive orders:

Why do so many liberal women date conservative men
Long time lurker of this sub but thought to make this post. For preface I am a liberal guy but am bisexual. Currently in a great relationship with a guy and not interested in dating women. So this isn't a "why don't women date me" post.
So I've been pretty involved in liberal politics in my adult life. Been to plenty of protests, rallies and even worked for a democrat running for local office. Due to this my social circle is filled with like minded people including plenty of women.
Over the years it seems that every single one of my female friends has brought around a conservative boyfriend at some point. Some of them have held their views secret but all of us could tell through comments and obvious discomfort with our political views. Others have been outwardly conservative both in person and on social media.
Recently a female friend started dating a die hard MAGA guy. The type of dude who wears a MAGA hat to the grocery store. Lets just say I was shocked. This was the same girl who went to protests and was outwardly anti MAGA. I asked her and her response was "oh he's only MAGA because he cares about the economy" when his social media is filled with posts that were everything she hated.
I understand that people's views can change but it seems like a really abrupt 180. Going from "I'd never date a conservative guy" to "oh he just cares about the economy" within days.
I've done some internet lurking about it and lots of posts say its a masculinity thing. Conservative men tend to fall into traditional masculinity a lot more (financial provider, family values and such). I'm wondering if any Gen Z women can shed some light on this?
For preface I am a liberal guy but am bisexual.
"Why don't women see a guy who gets fricked in the butt by other guys as a good long-term mate?"

It's cold, and dry, and I have to wash my hands often, and now the skin of my hands is dry and rough. Especially on the knuckles, it breaks open and bleeds. I just put some lotion with urea on, and it burns

That was horrible. With the singular exception of the wonderful TOS time travel tribbles episode, DS9 never once exceeded mediocrity at its very best.
The entire thing was stupid. The entire thing was boring. All of the original characters (exceptions being Garak, Quark, and briefly Nog) were boring and one dimensional. It says a lot when the only actually likable, interesting characters are the two B-listers they pulled from TNG (O'Brien, Worf).
Avery Brooks can't act. None of the cast could act. It's like they were directed to play someone playing an actor playing their part. And then there's Avery Brooks who had to have been directed to play an actor overacting the part of an actor overacting the part of an actor playing Sisko, a man with a debilitating brain injury.
Sisko wasn't even the worst though, that honor is split between Jake and Kira. Jake would clinch it easily if he had appeared more often (though he still appeared WAY too much) and this fucking episode that Reddit ADORES remains the single worst episode of anything I ever remember seeing. Kira ties him though with the sheer volume of her appearances and how the writers were deadset on having her be this sexpot despite being an aging, fuck ugly hag with some of the ugliest hair ever to grace the 90s, a grating voice and an utterly hateful personality. The mirror universe episodes where she was always in leather are going to haunt me for the rest of my life.
"teehee rom sounds goofy but hes actually a super smart engineer" would have been a funny bit for one episode but they built large swathes of the later series around this. It wasn't cute for very long and Rom is insufferable.
Bashir x O'Brien forced bromance is the most egregious example of what Peter meant when he said something insists upon itself.
Ezri was a horrible replacement for Jadzia and I don't know why we needed a trill for the last season. Just write the character out instead of inserting this pointless therapist bitch with a pixie cut and spending HALF THE SEASON telling us her backstory and showing us who she is.
Bajoran mysticism is fucking retarded and the entire show was built around this nonsensical space magic. Everything about the bajorans sucks. I think there are probably a double digit number of episodes where the premise is "Kira must work with a hated cardassian but what if the cardassian is actually a good guy????" and absolutely none of them were remotely interesting and having Kira be the focal point just made them all the worse.
Absolutely no one wanted 20 episodes of boring ass horrible actor Sisko romancing the ugliest women in the galaxy but we got them anyway
Oh and don't even get me started on fucking Odo and the entire race of shapeshifters
And that sappy fucking bittersweet instrumental music montage of all the Moments throughout the series at the end???? It didn't even come close to earning that fuck OFF
What else
EDIT: OH AND FUCK VIC FONTAINE

Recently, I suffered a massive injustice at the hands of @ToeBeans, and I wish to talk about it because it concerns a lot of important societal topics. Recently,
@ToeBeans made a lighthearted thread asking people why they were still up. The humor is obvious - as a global website, there are obviously many users for whom it is not night, but
@ToeBeans is acting like it is bedtime for everybody. It is also a relatable thread, as we have all had the experience of suffering from insomnia and finding ourselves browsing this godforsaken site.
https://rdrama.net/post/334265/why-are-you-up-so-late
I was one of the first people to respond to the thread, and I think I gave a worthwhile answer.
I left the thread and tended to other matters. When I returned, to my surprise, the thread had blown up and there were over a hundred replies. I jumped back into the thread to consume the new content but I soon found myself crestfallen. @ToeBeans had responded to everybody except for me. It felt like a knife to the gut, like having acid thrown on your face. Sadly, it wasn't an unfamiliar feeling, however, and the sadness that fell over me was something like an old friend. This is a situation I've dealt with plenty of times in my life - being ignored, overlooked, ostracized - and it comes down to heightism.
What Is Heightism?
Heightism is the discrimination of others based on their height. This is a harsh form of discrimination because one cannot change their height. It is a form of discrimination that mainly affects men, and it permeates all spheres of life. Height is used to judge one's fitness, attractiveness, and worth.
This is apparent when we look at the world of economics. What the studies show is absolutely darning.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Height_discrimination
Summing up the Wikipedia article:
1. Your height at 16 determines your whole life's earning power
They also found that men's wages as adults could be linked to their height at age 16
The researchers found that on an average an increase in height by one inch at age 16 increased male adult wages by 2.6 percent. This is equal to increase of approximately $850 in 1996 annual earnings. In other words, the height and corresponding social experiences of taller male adolescent at age 16 would likely translate to higher wage in later adulthood as compared to shorter male adolescent.
2. Your height determines what jobs you can have, even if height has nothing to do with your duties
- Studies have shown that short people are paid less than taller people, with disparities similar in magnitude to the race and gender gaps
3. Your height determines whether you will hold any leadership positions. If you're below 5 foot 7, you have almost NO chance of ever holding a leadership position
- Surveys have uncovered that less than 3% of CEOs were below 1.70 m (5 ft 7 in) in height. 90% of CEOs are of above average height
Heightism isn't limited to the world of money. It also extends into the romantic realm. Here, things get brutal for short men.
1. Women prefer taller men
- in a 2019 survey performed by Ipsos in Hungary with over 500 respondents, the perfect height for men for 53% of participants was between 1.78 m (5 ft 10 in) to 1.85 m (6 ft 1 in)
What Are the Effects of Heightism?
By now it should be obvious that heightism is not benign, nor is it a laughing matter. As a 156cm man, I have felt the harsh effects of heightism and it has permanently scarred my psyche and moulded me into who I am today, for better and for worse. There are no organisations or groups to come to my aid, and if I complain about the obvious discrimination I face, I am ridiculed. Heightism is suffered in private, and you are led to believe it is non-existent. Nobody has sympathy for you when you're short. You're always overlooked, never seen as a leader, you're always just "less than".
As you would imagine, research has shown that going through life as a short man has deleterious effects on the psyche.
A study produced by the Universities of Groningen and Valencia, found that the taller a man was, the less anxious he felt about attractive, physically dominant, and socially powerful rivals
it was found that a 5-cm (2-inch) increase in height was associated with a 9% decrease in suicide risk
Conclusion
When @ToeBeans ignored me, I felt that pain of being a manlet. That familiar feeling of being unseen and rejected for factors outside of my control. I put my best foot forward and I got overlooked. What's sad is that I've always tried to be nice to
@ToeBeans so I don't know what I did to deserve this treatment.
But all that doesn't matter. I don't matter. I'm just a worthless manlet so nothing I do matters. I feel like cutting myself but I'm not going to do it. I'm dedicated to having a benzo and cutting free 2025. Nobody will take me off my path to self-improvement. I can't control what others think of me but I can control myself.
