1. US competition with EU - US GDP growth rate remains far above that of the EU. The gap between the US economy and the European Union economy will only grow with time.

2. US competition with China - China's GDP growth has slowed down enough and is continuing to decline to the point that they are going to end up the way of Japan and South Korea. China is well positioned to fall into the middle income trap. After days of research one can conclude that the gap between the US and Chinese economies is going to increase in the coming decade. With China never catching up to the US economy.

3. US competition with India - India started off too late in the race. It would take 20-25 years for it just to become a middle income economy. India would have started to go the way of East Asian economies by the time it becomes a developed economy. With the US at that point in time still ahead of the Indian economy.

4. There are no other economies in the world large enough to compete with the US.

5. US, EU, China, and India, together in the coming decades would hold 75%-90% of the world's GDP. The US would be growing at a consistently faster rate than these economies when they peak.

6. Taking all these factors into account, the US will be the singular dominant super power of the world this century.

3. Bringing Serbia back towards the EU away from China.

4. Maintaining population growth without increasing share of Muslim population in Europe.

In conclusion:

The European Union is doing good for itself. The UK will over time be forced to rejoin the EU. The EU continues to integrate further internally while expanding its borders externally.

Future of EU:

EU will expand further. One day even Turkey will be part of the EU. EU will still be there when Russia falls. EU will develop North Africa. EU will remain the second largest economy in the world in the long run by constantly adding new members. EU will shift to a three tier system in the near future, core members, non-core members, candidate members.

Saudi Arabia is going to turn into the next Turkey in terms of liberal Islam. That much is guaranteed at this point in time.

UAE is pretty much an international destination with 74% muslim population and declining.

We now have three liberalizing arab nation states - Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and UAE.

With a fourth one being obliterated. Palestine.

This leaves the west to deal with Syria, Iraq, and Iran.

Of these three, Syria should be the easiest to take down, as without Russian support, Syria will have no way to defend itself against Western intervention.

The primary trade partner of Syria today is Saudi Arabia.

With Saudi Arabia on the side of the west, it opens up a position for the west to influence Syria through Saudi Arabia.

In the long run we can expect Syria to be westernized and liberalized similar to Saudi Arabia due to its geographic location and Isolation from the eastern powers.

Hezbollah is the primary thorn remaining in the middle east.

If hezbollah could be put down, the middle east would indisputably belong to the western powers.

A conflict breaking out between Israel and Hezbollah is almost guaranteed at this point. Hezbollah would lose such a conflict with Israel willing to go as far as it has to now to maintain its security in the region.

We can expect an active war to break out between Lebanon and Israel this year.

In conclusion:

the middle east has fallen to the west.

Sub Saharan Africa will become the new center of Radical Islam.
