Exactly, I've worn them on and off since about 2013 but it all depends on the person, their hygiene habits, and to some extent the size. I've only gone up to 00g but times when I didn't clean my ears for 1-2 days I'd notice it would start to have a slight dead skin smell to them. Those had to go when I got a job. Where I am at now, doesn't care at all but it took several jobs during my career to get to this point. I make six figures because of those early jobs after getting my degree, they were stepping stones to where I am now. And unfortunately, it seems like the lower the pay the more oppressive the rules about dress code are. The only time I was ever reprimanded for dress code was when I was making $12/hour and it was my boss's fault I didn't have any nice clothes (long story lol.) So I advise caution. However, the comment I replied to by the op said that incels who were specifically abused by women were at fault for not processing the trauma correctly. If that's what were happening I'd agree with you. However the 100,000x fold YoY increase in the usage of the words "Nazi", "Fascist", and "regime" to describe our democratically elected government suggest to me that reasoned discussion of government policies is not primarily what's going on. When subredditors describe what they're doing as "doomscrolling" that word seems to have a negative connotation, in my mind.
