Significantly because "pro-life" is a rhetorical trick to mask the fact that the movement calling itself "pro-life" is, in fact, solely in favour of a theocratic control of government and through that, social life and culture.
France has correctly rejected this dangerous movement. America … well, America tries.

Actually, a warrant canary is a pre-arranged signal, which is designed to be excluded from reports with plausible deniability that it was excluded purposefully.
If reddit makes a history of placing a statement that they've never received a NSL in a transparency report, then receives an NSL and subsequently excludes the statement, then pretty much every court in the United States would find them guilty of public disclosure of the fact that they received an NSL.
Sedondly, and importantly, the United States Government's agents and agencies do not deliver National Security Letters to corporations or the executives of corporations. They go directly to key employees, and deliver the NSL to the employee directly, and forbid the employee from discussing the NSL with the corporation, the corporation's legal department, their co-workers, their supervisors, etcetera.
This is done because it's simply proper intelligience hygiene.

Edit: This comment has attracted a lot of p-dophiles defending their loli waifus. Please go to therapy and leave me alone.
You could reasonably have expected this.
And, though I am not an admin, I have read the content policies repeatedly and apply them every day as part of what I do on Reddit.
The content policy about sexual or suggestive content involving minors says, outright, that there are no exceptions -- and that, when in doubt (and having to raise the question counts as doubt), don't post it.
Which means that "cartoon porn involving minors" is a violation.
Is there a reason why subreddit such as the one I mentioned are allowed to stay
People continually frame their question in this manner. It's almost inescapable that this question is framed in this way.
They should, instead, ask "Is there a reason why very few people, or no people, are reporting to the admins specific actionable content in the subreddits in question?".
Reddit does not, and cannot, have employees proactively reviewing the content posted to the site.
If it doesn't get reported, it doesn't get actioned.
That's why subreddits such as /r/AgainstHateSubreddits are necessary, to organise community efforts to get content policy violations reported.
Here's a better question:
How would you go about organising a community effort to report violations of the Content Policy against Sexualised Minors, without simultaneously inviting participants to view such content (an activity which itself potentially carries both civil and criminal liability) --?
Let me assist you in that question from a position of experience in wrestling with that question : You don't. There is no ethical, moral, or legally advisable approach to "Organise a volunteer community around evaluating content that is potentially child porn and thereby also distribute that content".
That answers the second question, and both of those inform and thereby bring the unfortunate answer to your question, the first question:
Some communities get shut down and some don't because some communities get reported and some don't, and there's no viable model of encouraging people to report violations.

Chart 17 : Community ban reasons (January - June 2024)
-1.0% H/H : 102 communities banned for hateful content.
That's the "dead cat" bounce. H2 2023 they banned 103 communities for hateful content; H1 2023 it was 382.
Which means that we've hit the stable long tail of "Ignorant / malicious bad actor creates hate subreddit, it gets banned promptly, they get the idea and knock it off."
Reddit is no longer a viable platform for durable, consistent, persistent hate speech messaging, because of policy, enforcement infrastructure, and community effort.

Because the LEOs are racists, and their economies are dependent on the oil industry.
The last time LEOs in America used water cannons — and attack dogs — on peaceful protestors was in the early 1960's, and that fuelled the adoption of the 1964 Civil Rights Acts.
The LEOs hate the Federal government for keeping them from running their own powerful fiefdoms hand-in-hand with corporate interests.

He didn't link to any studies. His [1], [2], etc citations were actually footnotes.
His thesis — because it wasn't totally clear — was that women are biologically inferior at a set of skills.
One of those skills he claimed women are inferior at, is leading.
He was wondering aloud why he and his friends couldn't have a "frank" and "honest" discussion,
About their view,
That women are unfit to lead men. (Among other things)
With zero citations. With a dismissal of entire scientific disciplines.
He claimed women are, as a class, unfit to lead men.
And his claimed proof is to claim evolutionary pressures,
In a species that has been artificially cultivated towards sexual dimorphism and sexual holoditypic expressions, for 30,000 years or more.
His argument is "I'm not saying stereotypes are good, but here's some stereotypes, why can't we talk about how people fit stereotypes without fear of losing our jobs?"
There are no scientists anywhere that publish science about how society should make people suffer for the way a bigot sees them, nor how a bigot or bigots, deserve(s) to exploit the stereotypes their culture hold dear.

Answer:
The admins are not "targetting" /r/ChapoTrapHouse.
Despite having a group of people in the position of Moderator, the culture that has been cultivated in the subreddit for an extended period of time has been that the appropriate social contract is no social contract -- and no respect for the boundaries of others, dignity or personhood of others, or the contracts that they severally and collectively agreed to in the form of the Reddit User Agreement.
Their apparent political theory is to be ungovernable and to aid, abet, command, counsel, induce or procure violence.
Two of the three individual user accounts that were removed from the /r/ChapoTraphouse team, were removed due to refusing, to Reddit administration, to uphold their end of the Reddit User Agreement as regards Subreddit moderation; Reddit removed them from moderating /r/ChapoTrapHouse for that. One of the accounts has been permanently suspended from Reddit for violations of the Content Policy that prohibits content that aids, abets, commands, counsels, induces or procures (i.e. glorifies) violence.
/r/ChapoTrapHouse has been the staging and launching point of numerous harassment campaigns against various subreddits on Reddit that have "opposite" political alignment from the politics expressed by the ChapoTrapHouse podcasters and their audience -- and harassment campaigns against other subreddits that the in-crowd of the subreddit could be aimed at -- including progressive and leftist subreddits that their in-crowd did not control.
Because of the culture of ungovernability and advocacy of violence that was cultivated in that subreddit, the mob that was fostered could be aimed at any arbitrary target that anyone wished them to be aimed at, on the barest, easily-falsified pretext -- such as staged modmail leaks from /r/frickthealtright that depicted one of the moderators of that subreddit stating that a banbot should be used to blanket ban all the users of /r/chapotraphouse from /r/frickthealtright.
On seeing this "modmail leak", the users of /r/chapotraphouse proceeded to be aimed at harassing the moderators and users of other subreddits that the individual moderates for, over a long holiday weekend, when the co-ordinators of the harassment brigade knew that the Reddit admins would be out of the office and therefore unable to intervene. This was accomplished via a flat-out lie: That the subreddit in question was already banning all users of /r/chapotraphouse.
This was not an isolated incident on the part of the /r/chaptraphouse "moderators", who even now are telling their users directly that there are things that they shouldn't do, that the Reddit administration has told the mods to disallow, but that the "moderator team" will not take action if those users do those things.
TL;DR: /r/ChapoTrapHouse is effectively unmoderated, and because of that, developed into the Reddit Harassment Brigade Edition of the Low Orbit Ion Cannon, out to hire to whoever had the slightest quantum of shrewdness, and could wave a red flag in front of them.
i.e. They allowed themselves to be fascist stooges, doing the dirty work of harassing people on the Left.
So, to sum up:
They brought this on themselves.

It's an extremely cold take. You want hot? Here's hot:
Most people have a baseline of fairly conventional kindergarten morality, and Postmodern Conservatism often clashes with it.
You can rationalise the contradictions in your beliefs: "I'm not a bigot, I just believe in State's Rights"
But as American Conservatism gets more radical
It gets harder to square one's politics with what one assumes to be one's beliefs.
So you learn, when someone challenges you, to cycle through beliefs (and thought-terminating comebacks like "That's a hot take"), until something sticks.
Just Play Your Hand, and Trust That You're Right.
or
in extreme cases
insist that you have no beliefs at all, you're just here to watch the world burn.
But you're not.
You are willing participants in the burning of only certain parts.
You don't actually care what you believe, but you know what you hate, and you don't want to think about why you hate it.
On paper, you believe in Freedom of Religion and Freedom of Expression, but you also hang out in communities where Muslims and trans women are punching bags - and operate subreddits like SPS that explicitly serve to direct harassment at the people you hate.
And as I've mentioned before - the piper's price has come due on your movement.

Apple won't allow f.lux because the code hooks system functionality that is currently handled in silicon and, if it were piped through f.lux, would cut battery life — like, literally, it would eat the battery, which is the opposite of one of its intended features (saving energy). So much of iOS devices are implemented in specific ways to not use the CPU, and hacking them can never be elegant.
The brightness controls exist for a reason. Also — turn off the device and go to sleep.
