Even if increased sexual promiscuity from women leads to more s*x overall, you're assuming that s*x is evenly distributed. Without the limiting factor of people pairing off and taking each other out of the available pool, one male is able to monopolize multiple females, leaving a large number of excess males. This is why societies throughout history have had to strictly enforce monogamy and/or find ways to cull excess males to maintain stability.

After seeing what those goblins actually look like and reading their written thoughts, I actually believe that they are so physically, mentally, emotionally, and interpersonally hideous that they will never get s*x or be loved.

They're not actually mad about the lack of s*x or romance. Most incels are just passive, low T guys who are deeply concerned over over their social status and how their lack of s*x affects that i.e. Elliot Rodgers. Fricking some uggo or paying for s*x does nothing for their status so they don't accept it as "real." Same with betabuxxing since even if they manage to go steady with some Stacy it doesn't count because other men fricked her without trying as hard which lowers his status relative to theirs (it doesn't matter if it's true or not the idea is that it could be true if she's fricked other guys). The incel ideal is the same as the PUA, where the goal is statusmaxxing by fricking as many attractive women as possible even if it brings them little pleasure or happiness. Even though they're doing this for the approval of some audience, the audience doesn't even have to really exist, it's done to impress the uncool highschooler in their heads.

The whole "in self-defence using properly purchased gun with all necessary licences" meme is like less than 1% of shootings.
