What opinion about dating would have you like this?

https://i.rdrama.net/images/16971367376919296.webp

The illusion given by dating apps and social media have massively screwed up the dating game. Women think they have over 1,000 suitors at any given moment because the average woman is swiped around 800 times a month. So if the guy isn't perfect, they have the illusion of unlimited options.

Men will follow the hottest 100 women in the world on Instagram or by watching porn, without realizing there are over 7 billion people in the world and these women with perfect bikini bodies aren't the norm. Meanwhile, the cute girl next door is now “mid” to them because they're under the illusion that the top 0.00001% is the norm.

As a woman you can't tell if you have chemistry with a man by looking at a couple photos of him and his dog. We also don't always know what we want. This is evident even on reality shows like “Love is Blind” where the woman is constantly saying, “I wouldn't have swiped on this guy because he's not my type but I'm falling for him.” There are many such cases which is why you shouldn't limit yourself to an arbitrary type based on numbers like height or income because you're missing out.

unmarried !biofoids and !homeowners do you agree with this general sentiment

!incels and !christians how has this affected you personally?

/r/GuyCry is nothing but suicidal teens and pathetic FtM trains, but sometimes you get a gem of a weak moid in his 30s. This dude's girlfriend straight up knows he's a kitty and tells him to hit her. lmao

What a frickin chad female. No female wants some /r/GuyCry kitty.

Hello rwddit!

It's called Financial Independence, Retiring Early. It's best to break this early by insisting on an expensive wedding and call it unrealistic (because you'll be spending that money of course).

So I recently turned 29, and found this community last year. I from the start have been keen on saving money, but wasn't really a problem because I make a decent/good salary in MCOL, but now maybe subconsciously try to spare any dime I can to try to FIRE by 45 or latest 50.

I spoke to my Fiancé about this recently and the thoughts on retiring early, and she has recently has started to get annoyed about my interest in retiring early and is the total opposite, and says she wants to enjoy life now and worry about the future later.

This has come into fruition even more now, as now my fiancé wants to have a big butt wedding which may cost about 75 - 100k, and she does not have the funds on her side to pay for it. She will get her family involved she said and get them to pay half.

My fiancé knows how much I make, but has no idea how much cash I have saved, I told her a fake number a while back, and I'm afraid to tell her about this, as I am afraid she will guilt me into paying for most of the wedding, when I am pushing for just a simple wedding with family and then go on a nice traveling honey moon.

She is started to say my scrounging and saving for cash is starting to get a little overboard, and I need to control it as it's not great to have these habits so young, when we should enjoy. I personally don't think I have changed my habits that much, maybe I say let's invest more and cut out outside meals or maybe I'm just talking about money more than she likes.

My financials: - 550k cash in multiple HYSA - 50k 401k ( started contributed late, am contributing heavily now) - 0 debt - 280k total comp with base and RSU combined

Her financial: - 18k debt - don't know how much she has saved (she told me like 20k a year ago) - 85k salary

The huge discrepancy in net worth is also a reason I feel like she doesn't see the value of money as much as I do, but I can't heck her this as it may come off weird. Does she have a point though, or am I wrong and being kinda cheap?

Open to all advice.

That's why ladies should not lower their standards!

Some of the salty comments found on /r/singapore:

https://old.reddit.com/r/singapore/comments/16fpqui/my_bf_wrote_a_book_to_ask_me_to_be_his_gf_this_is/?context=8

:marseygrapes:: So many red flags from both parties

:marseyblops2cel:: So in order to be her boyfriend he has to put her above all else at all times? Wow. Psycho.

:marseyantiwork:: How does he even have a book to fill out? They aren't even dating yet. I write poetry for my partner sometimes, but I write it during a loving and lasting relationship. Not gonna make a book's work of shit up for some girl I probably barely know. Maybe her bf just did something unexpectedly nice and she's happy, but I don't tolerate the type who gather an army of simps to compete in giving her tribute. I've never met a girl like that who is worth it, they are usually surprisingly boring or unsurprisingly crazy.
