I'll have to write a piece on this and my own experience doing it on /h/traditionalgames, it's a deep, bleak rabbit hole.

Nah. If he spends $400 a month on md he is not a real boozer. That's $13/day that you buy booze with which is the preferred option.
And yeah, I heard about dungeon mastering for hire, but I would never do it and I would never play in a group that does.

I wouldn't be surprised if he spent like $10 to doordash mountain dew from taco bell lol

often it's because they know it's bad for you and feel some kind of shame for buying it so they don't want to buy it in bulk bc that's basically a promise to future self that you'll def be drinking all of it
so instead they buy a small amount at a time like "oh it's just a tiny bit I don't have to drink a lot" and by the time the month's over they've drank gallon after gallon of the stuff

The difference between poors and lower middle class is almost entirely spending. They make almost the same as each other.

Absolutely baffling. I would kill for a cushy job like that instead of spending my early years fileting my fingers off

Call centers are soul grinders, you do not want to work at one. Also they will hire just about anyone because of the high turnover call centers have, if you really want to see for yourself

Yeah i know a few people who out of highschool worked call centers and they both loved the commission and hated the environment.
I'd prefer at most the work from home type but beggars cant be choosers

The world of paid GMing is bleak. People too insufferable to have friends to play with and too stupid to run a game themselves hire a GM who hates them so they can masturbate to their OCs being badass. I once took a look at public Roll20 game listings, never again.

Idk, if everyone wants to be a PC you need someone to run the game. A lot of people I know will rotate through the DM/GM spot with their group because they all hate it but if you have the money, why not get a pro to run your game for you?

My guess is Southern New Hampshire University. Basically an online university like Phoenix or Kaplan (pre-acquisition by Purdue). My guess is his degree is absolutely worthless.

Unless you went to an IVY school or have an MBA, a business degree is the moid equivalent of a sociology degree. Enjoy that assistant manager job at Starbucks.
