After 2 years of sneeding, PGA has decided that money is worth more than morals and agreed to merge with LIV, backed by Saudi Arabia. As a reminder, this was PGA's stance last year. Loyalists to the PGA have been thoroughly humiliated as they turned down contracts worth up to $800 million (in Tiger Woods case) for it to not really matter in the end.
As expected, reddit is handling it well:
So LIV golfers just essentially made a shit ton of money and nothing changed? I’m confused
You left out the part where the PGA went on a year long rant about morality and refusing to take money from the Saudis only to immediately take money from the Saudis at the first opportunity
This is my favorite part. And all the redditors who just got cucked by the PGA & their "heritage & tradition"
Hey wait, that’s me 🥴
PGA really made themselves look like a joke. Cash really rules everything.
Always has
And on, and on. If you sort by new, plenty of fresh seethe in both the /r/golf and /r/sports threads. Meanwhile /sp/ is acting smug at libcucks and redditors getting owned epic style. Post yfw you didn't look out for number 1 and got clowned on anyways

I don't really have an issue with foreign fans but it does annoy me when they act like waking up a couple of hours early to watch Real Madrid is some Herculean task

Last Thursday, the Cowgirls won a thriller against the Seahawks, 41-35. TE Jake Ferguson scored the winning TD, running a nice route and beating safety Jamal Adams in the endzone. After the play, New York Jets beat writer, Connor Hughes, was quick to show off his amazing journ*lism skills by dunking on the former Jet, replying "Yikes" to a highlight of the play. After the game, Jamal Adams saw this tweet, and quipped back at the journo, posting a picture of the guy's wife and saying "Yikes".
As per usual, Redditors were quick to defend m'lady, calling for the player to be cut for his disgusting actions - here are some threads with a few highlights, nearly everyone is pooping on him lol:

“I think my wife is hot. So we're not that different, Jamal. We're both constantly fricking up.”
Lol this is great
That's a smooth line.
"He's always said some smart things toward my play, if I do make a mistake."
Jamal, I'm not sure you understand what sports reporters do for a living.
Ah yes, posting "Yikes" is fantastic journ*lism.
Adams doesn't deserve to be a Seahawk.
Ps am I supposed to think she's ugly? I'm legit confused. Your face looks like it got hit by a bus and you're talking shit?
Mfer looks like an RPG character that didn't have any points left to put into intelligence because he spent them all on neck.
I wish I had more than one upvote to give this one. Normally I don't much like making fun of anyone's appearance, but "spent them all on neck" was too funny.
Reddit on!
And yes, she's mid at best.
Now that is truly vile reaction. It's time to move on from Jamal.
Even the coach, talked to him about the incident, and this absolute Chad said "When they go low, I go lower"
Anyways, this guy would easily on my All-Drama NFL team, the guys a beauty

After Brittney Griner played in her first WNBA game last night since coming home from prison in Russia, Phoenix Mercury head coach Vanessa Nygaard was angry Los Angeles didn’t sellout the arena for her return:

“How was it not a sellout??”pic.twitter.com/b2GgnsjlIN
Gee, I wonder why nobody went to yet another WNBA game
Anyway, in real sports news, the Nuggies went up 3 games to 0 against LeBron and the Gaykers

Yes, it's Draymond Green for like the 30th time just assaulting another player. He also tries, in true NBA fashion, to comedically flop afterwards as if that face came out of nowhere and just hit him.
What a great league
