If you want to play games at 1080p with every graphic settings maxed out you're going to need a 400 bucks + card quite soon. The RTX 3070/3080 are scams though, the RX 6750 (I got mine for 530€) is very good, and the RTX 3060 is fine (400€).

ddr5 ram is overpriced atm, just get ddr4, again, check for sales.
Don't get an Arc GPU for general use, amd is the way to go atm.
If you live near a microcenter they have great cpu/mobo combo deals, so check if you are near one.

Kingston SSDs are fine beside the A400 series
DDR5 is currently less expensive than DDR4 (Well, sticks are less expensive, MB are more expensive). While you can't have the same CAS as you have on a DDR4 ramstick for the same price, benchmarks show DDR5 sticks with high CAS are superior to DDR4 ramsticks with low cas. And DDR4 is about to die, if he buys DDR4 he's going to have to take a DDR4 motherboard and be fricked if he ever wants to replace his ram sticks.

Respect the ARC pick, but why are you pairing a 13'th gen mobo with a budget 12'th gen i5? If anything I'd get a (second hand?) B660 mobo and pair it with the 13400.
Also 8GB DDR5 sticks are literally below spec and will suffer massively as result, either downgrade to DDR4 and save a buck on the mobo or stretch it to 16GB DDR5 sticks

Spending as much on your MB as on your CPU is
- either get a cheaper MB or a better CPU
DDR5 is not a bad choice but your CPU is a bit too slow to utilize it and you can't really upgrade that Intel platform
Get a better SSD, one that's not QLC and has a DRam cache
AMD is the king in 200-400 GPU price range ATM, Intel is a buggy mess that doesn't work well with older games especially

Pretty good tbh, just an interesting choice going Intel GPU on a budget pc. Those things are notoriously buggy and not worth the money quite yet. Also would have thrown another 20-30 on a 750-850W PSU for future proofing
