That’s only a part of this series of comments, though; the entire premise of the chain is about how J4D is probably evil 4channers trying to demonize black people.

I think it's been slowly picking up speed, the stream I've been watching has gone from like ~10k-100k over the last week. Trials like this where it's the case is really clearcut don't usually get much attention, people just want to see him being sentenced and victim testimony. The novelty is him representing himself, which I don't think people understand is hilarious until they watch clips. It's also 1 of many tragedies that happened in the last year, people forget about that shit pretty fast.
