My impression of that show is that the writers genuinely believe in the saying "if we all just try to be empathetic and compassionate we can all get along and be happy!" And that's just such a delusional lie. We live in a world where approximately 15% of the population are narcissistic virtue-signalling monsters and the only way we're all going to get along and be happy is if these people go up against the wall.

Ted Lasso is just feel good escapism, and thatβs pretty much it. Season 3 got super preachy though, thereβs an episode where the evil Bong Home Secretary that seems to be a parody white version of Priti Patel mixed with Trump, tells refugees that Britain is closed. The nigerian footballer then tweets her saying something about compassion, and mayo Patel tells him to frick off, and then some brown shirts tories vandalize the nigerianβs restaurant.

Ted Lasso was originally just a commercial skit for NBC picking up some EPL matches. He was made Tottenhams new coach and had some mildly amusing interactions with some of the players (Kane,Lennon, maybe Defoe iirc). I loved the skits but couldnβt make it halfway through the first episode when they made it a whole show for some unknown reason.

The admins have not intervened in the powermod issue since before the time I was Reddit CEO.
My advice (if you really want them removed) is to troll the heck out of them until they're so far on tilt that they end up violating a Reddit rule, and then the admins ban them. However, this is ultimately a destructive, negative-sum way to live.
