I have to go into an M&M board meeting Monday because patient expired 7 years after I treated them. I have to review years of pre and post treatment. I threw venetoclax at them from what I reviewed but now have dozens of doctors going in thinking I fricked up and could have done better. They died with CLL and now I have to defend the most basic treatment option given.

It wasn't negligence. I provided the appropriate treatment at the time and now it's just people shifting blame. Nobody likes to accept any form of fault in these meetings. Easier to assign blame to somebody than accept natural causes.
