Why are men against women in the military (Janny had to shut this one down). Female soldiers don't end up fricking everyone on deployments and ruining unit cohesion that's for sure.

Today I saw very fat pretty young woman, morbidly obese. It was at the grocery store. And her bag was full of healthy stuff, like vegetables, fruits, dark bread, zero coke, only thing I could stick to was processed sausages. And I wonder why people make those pathetic New Year's resolutions.. It never works... Better follow your intuition.
Did she tell you she's buying healthy stuff because of a ""New Year""-thing?
Or did you just asume that cause she's fat.
the second one
Seriously not cool.
Mind your own business.
She's trying to better herself.
Your judgement shows what kind of person you are.
I always go with βYou never know what someones going through.β And mind my own business.
But you do you I guess, just maybe keep some thoughts to yourself next time. Or think before you hit the post button.
Media lurks for life kids, just remember. And anyone from anywhere can access that.
maybe I will got arrested though this discusion π₯
Oh get over yourself. You don't know anything about a literal stranger who's buying produce at a grocery store. Don't you know what they say about assuming? Except in this case the only person you're making an butt out of is yourself. Remember that there are heavier people on EDS too. This is meant to be a supportive community. We're not skinnygossip or lolcows
Is it maybe a jealous or scared kind of thing, Lena?
I saw your other thread about feeling better than other people, when you're buying healthier food than they are at the grocery store.
I think Lena got arrested.
just a psa that health exists at every size; the size of one's body is not an accurate indication of their health !!
I feel bad for OP because it's clear they have a lot of judgement built up inside of them, whether it be from the stress of an ed or the standards they force upon themselves. I mean there's a possibility that this is just their personality but I feel like the ed is really getting to them...
Poor OP! I know it was a mean thought, but we all have those. I'd never say anything mean to someone for being fat, but God knows I think things I'd be embarrassed for them to hear.
If we didn't think fat was a bad thing, we wouldn't mind being fat ourselves. It's very internalized. Again, normal thoughts for people struggling with these disorders.
i starved my way out of obesity, 100 lbs down. there were points in my journey where i was starving but was still obese. i could have easily been that girl at the store that ur judging.
i have thoughts like this too. it's hard to control, i get it. but just keep in mind u really don't know anyone's circumstances. empathy is so important β₯

Jay Glatfelter spends about $4,800 a year on toys β $2,400 for himself and $2,400 combined on his six- and 10-year-old sons' birthday and Christmas presents.
The 39-year-old tech sales rep, who moonlights as a toy influencer under the moniker Geek.Dad.Life, is among a booming group of grown-ups who are shelling out big bucks to collect action figures, trading cards and Lego sets that harken back to their youth in the 1980s and 1990s.
Their love of all things Star Wars, Marvel, Ghostbusters and Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles is a bright patch in an otherwise bleak outlook for the toy industry.
For the first time ever, toy demand from preschoolers was surpassed by demand from toy enthusiasts over the age of 18, with the latter accounting for $1.5 billion in sales from January to April, according to data from Circana.
βThe reality is that most kids today are not connecting with physical toys the way previous generations did,β toy influencer Dan Larson told The Post, explaining that he's βa big fan of G.I. Joe.β
Circana, which tracks consumer trends, described 18 and over βas the most important age group for the toy industry,β pointing to a recent survey showing that 43% of adults purchased a toy for themselves during the past year.
The toy industry has been struggling to recover from a bust that followed a wild boom during the pandemic, when families were holed up at home stocking up on Barbies, Hot Wheels and board games.
US toy sales tumbled 8% to $28 billion last year after rising 1% from a year earlier, according to Circana data.
That's after historic surges in 2020 and 2021, when industrywide revenue surged 17% and 16%, respectively.
This year's numbers still look weak: Toy sales dropped 1% through April compared to a year ago while the number of units sold dipped by 2%, according to Circana.
It's no wonder that toy makers including Mattel, Hasbro and Lego are wooing drinking-age consumers.
βLego has someone on staff whose job is outreach to βAFOLs' [or adult fans of Lego], who are buying $200 sets,β explained James Zahn, editor of Toy Insider.
Ineeed, Lego sells sets for adults that are far pricier, including a Titanic set that sells for $679.99 and a Star Wars Millennium Falcon priced at $849.99.
In another key trend, grown-ups are buying collectible plush toys reminiscent of the Beanie Babies and Cabbage Patch Dolls that sparked frenzies in the 1980s and 1990s.
Eight-inch Squishmallows, collectibles that look like Humpty Dumpty with various faces including cats, pandas, clowns and bananas, were the top-selling toy in the first quarter, thanks in large part to adult collectors, according to Zahn.
But the majority of grown-up toy buyers are so-called βkidultsβ like Larson and Glatfelter β who tend to be men who are into action figures, trading cards and model sets, say experts.
βThe fandom skews more male and more millennial and Gen X,β said Glatfelter, who sees the trend as an evolution from previous generations who collected knickknacks.
βIt's the modern day version of when our grandparents collected Hummel figures,β he explained.
Some collectors are sensitive about being described as βkidults.β The issue inspired Larson to devote an entire segment on his YouTube channel SecretGalaxy to discuss whether βAction Figure Collecting is an Embarassing Hobby.β
The answer, he concluded, is yes and no.
A βsocietal perceptionβ that all toys are made for children feeds into the embarrassment, he said. On the other hand, collecting toys has βbecome more acceptable because companies are making lot of things for adults,β according to Larson.
βIf tiny plastic people brighten your world a little,β Larson said in the segment, βthen don't let anyone take that away from you.β
It can be a pricey hobby, with the average collector spending between $300 to $400 a month, according to Larson, who keeps some of his collection on display on a wall in the house he shares with his wife. Other items are stored in closets, the basement and in various bins, he said.
Toy industry honchos welcome the kidults to their toy chests, but insist that kids will always rule in the toy aisle.
For one thing, the first quarter is typically the slowest time of year for the industry, suggesting that adults' buying power stood out because there were fewer purchases for kids after families binged on the holidays, Greg Ahearn, president of the Toy Association told the Post.
βThe primary consumer is always going to be children,β Ahearn insisted. βBut we are finding that the adult market is flexing its muscle and has reached that tipping point.β

Kind of confirms that most redditors are pedos because they just claim that the person is being edgy when the sticker isn't wrong. Too drunk to link anything specific outside of rehashed jokes given the entire thread is littered with p-do apologetics trying downplay it. Also weird rhetoric that it's referring to LGBT so thanks for the ally support where you default us to being p-dophiles?

CNN announced the rules and additional details for its June 27 presidential debate, setting the stage for the event less than two weeks away.
Notable details include the absence of a studio audience, muted microphones except when a candidate is given time to speak, and each candidate's presence at a uniform podium. No props or pre-written notes will be allowed on the stage, though candidates will be given a pen, a pad of paper, and a bottle of water.
The moderators, Jake Tapper and Dana Bash, βwill use all tools at their disposal to enforce timing and ensure a civilized discussion,β according to the network.
The network also mused about who will qualify for the debates, saying it is unlikely for Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., the independent presidential candidate, to qualify for the debate, saying βThough not impossible in Kennedy's case, it is less likely that candidates other than Biden and Trump will meet those requirements.β
The network says RFK Jr. has three of the four required qualifying polls and has ballot access equivalent to 89 of the 270 electoral votes requirement. He has until June 20 to add another poll showing him at 15% or higher and an additional 181 electoral votes through ballot access in those states.
The most notable requirement is the absence of a studio audience, which is unusual for presidential debates in the general or party primaries. The detail was the Biden camp's idea, with campaign chair Jen O'Malley Dillon saying they wanted to avoid raucous crowds for viewers' benefit.
βThe debates should be conducted for the benefit of the American voters, watching on television and at home β not as entertainment for an in-person audience with raucous or disruptive partisans and donors, who consume valuable debate time with noisy spectacles of approval or jeering,β Dillon wrote in a May letter.
President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump have already agreed to the 90-minute debate rules, and will be allowed two breaks amid their likely verbal combat. As for the other details, muted mics was a stipulation included in a 2020 debate, and Trump has pushed for the candidates to stand at podiums, in a likely assumption Biden will be more uncomfortable, against the Biden campaign's suggestion to sit.
There will be at least one more presidential debate as ABC is hosting a debate on Sept. 10, not long before early voting begins in the general election. Trump leads by 1.1% in 538's national polling average.
