ive been not able to maintain a good streak on my calorie counting. havent been gaining weight but have been binge eating a lot and it's not making me feel well at all. any tips on how to make myself feel less hungry for snacking?
Make your own snacks! I make energy bars or little snacks balls with a food processor and various nuts,fruits and grains!
Get some dates, sultanas, raisins, almonds, hazelnuts and walnuts together. Have some coconut flakes and fat too (if not available water, olive oil or juice of an orange/lemon/whatever would work.). Add the zest of a fruit you like best too. I add some nutmeg and saltofc w/ cocoa powder too. Blend all that together until the mix reaches a sticky dough consistency. Lay this out on a baking tray with baking paper to cool or mold into little balls. When cooled in a fridge for a few hours theyvebeen set and ready to eat!
Another amazing idea is getting a few bananas, cutting them and freezing them over night. Put them in food processor with a bit of milk, blend until you get a pseudo-soft icecream that's awesome. No freezing needed. Even add nuts, chocolate etc.. to it. Eg,

When you feel hungry, try drinking water and giving it another 10 mins to go away.
Most people can mistake thirst for hunger. Also snacking can be a boredom response, so stop being a loser.
Final solution is to ask your mum to stop buying snackable food, only keep raw meat and cook it for meals, then there's nothing to snack on throughout the day.
You can move out of your mum's basement while you're at it.
Good advice, i am bored and thirsty all the time. I recently stopped writing and reading and havent played a game ive been into recently so its led me to snack more. The best thing would be to start reading and writing again
Theres no cooking stuff in this house yet because it’s not fully moved into yet but I will try to eat more meat, sausage, pasta, fish? Because I eat too many microwave pizzas and hot wings and rice because it’s “convient” but it’s never actually filling

Buy some Nu-salt from amazon(potassium chloride) and consume between half a teaspoon and a teaspoon of it per day(start low and gradually increase it), dissolved into a drink. Down it with half as much table salt, and make sure to drink enough water. Potassium is a necessary nutrient you almost certainly don't get enough of and taking large amounts of it curbs appetite.

The important thing with the melatonin is to make sure you dose it at .3mg and not the dumb amounts they sell at the grocery store. If you take a high dose it does technically work as a hypnotic, but it kind of sucks, honestly. If you take it beforehand any does over 1mg is going to be counterproductive.
