The manga is an autobiography following Kabi Nagata, a young woman, exploring subjects such as her mental health, her exploration of her sexuality, and her experience with growing up.[3] Her experiences provide context to why she chose to lose her virginity to a female s*x worker.

I'm looking for male written romance novels as the title suggests, female written is okay if its really above and beyond. I'm hoping for things like Francois Mauriac and Nabokov, with weird and deviant pairings and a greater focus on the mental state of the couple and their sexual dynamics. Anything specifically SciFi or Fantasy would be great, though I would prefer that the romance was the center stage storyline. As an aside, what do you guys think makes a romance story good and what would draw you too one if you're not interested in romance normally?

The bestselling author of a book about "white fragility" has been accused of plagiarising sections of the work of two Asian-Americans in her doctoral thesis.
Robin DiAngelo, an anti-racism consultant who argues that racial divisions have been entrenched by "defensive" white people, committed 20 cases of plagiarism, according to a complaint filed with her alma mater, the University of Washington.

Basically he's old and depressed because of his age and because of so many friends dying (having to regularly attend funerals of old lifetime friends is probably one of the bleakest aspects of aging when you think about it )
Writing came hard, and though I did produce some new pages on both THE WINDS OF WINTER (yes) and BLOOD & FIRE (the sequel to FIRE & BLOOD, the second part of my Targaryen history), I would have liked to turn out a lot more. My various television projects ate up most of those months.
!bookworms it's completely and utterly over for ASOIAFcels . The spin-off shows are consooming his time, he's sadge because he's old and because Trump is running or something and his promise of "I'm not writing any spin off until TWOW is done" is broken as he's writing F&B sequel B&F which will certainly be published before "The Winds of Winter" (if that book ever comes out, sounds as if he wrote 10 pages this year lol).

In my book, Aegon and Helaena have three children, not two. The twins, Jaehaerys and Jaehaera, are six years old. They have a younger brother, Maelor, who is two. When Blood and Cheese break in on Helaena and the kids, they tell her they are debt collectors come to exact revenge for the death of Prince Lucerys: a son for a son. As Helaena has two sons, however, they demand that she choose which one should die. She resists and offers her own life instead, but the killers insist it has to be a son. If she does not name one, they will kill all three of the children. To save the life of the twins, Helaena names Maelor. But Blood kills the older boy, Jaehaerys, instead, while Cheese tells little Maelor that his mother wanted him dead. (Whether the boy is old enough to understand that is not at all certain).
First he criticizes the Blood & Cheese scene and the lack of Maelor.
When Ryan Condal first told me what he meant to do, ages ago (back in 2022, might be) I argued against it, for all these reasons. I did not argue long, or with much heat, however. The change weakened the sequence, I felt, but only a bit. And Ryan had what seemed to be practical reasons for it; they did not want to deal with casting another child, especially a two-year old toddler. Kids that young will inevitably slow down production, and there would be budget implications. Budget was already an issue on HOUSE OF THE DRAGON, it made sense to save money wherever we could. Moreover, Ryan assured me that we were not losing Prince Maelor, simply postponing him. Queen Helaena could still give birth to him in season three, presumably after getting with child late in season two. That made sense to me, so I withdrew my objections and acquiesced to the change.
Lmao, they're not gonna include him
Most of you know about the Butterfly Effect, I assume.
Yes, there was a movie with that title a few years back. It's a familiar concept in chaos theory as well. But most science fiction fans were first exposed to the idea in Ray Bradbury's classic time travel story, "A Sound of Thunder," wherein a time traveler from the present panics and crushes a butterfly while hunting a T-Rex. When he returns to his own time, he discovers that the world has changed in huge and frightening ways. One dead butterfly has rewritten history. The lesson being that change begets change, and even small and seemingly insignificant alterations to a timeline — or a story — can have a profound effect on all that follows.
More over
The butterflies are not done with us yet, however. In the book, when word of Prince Maelor's death and the grisly manner of his passing (pp. 505) reaches the Red Keep, that proves to be the thing that drives Queen Helaena to suicide. She could barely stand to look at Maelor, knowing that she chose him to die in the "Sophie's Choice" scene… and now he is dead in truth, her words having come true. The grief and guilt are too much for her to bear.
In Ryan's outline for season 3, Helaena still kills herself… for no particular reason. There is no fresh horror, no triggering event to overwhelm the fragile young queen.
LMAO, it's even more over on season 3, the Fat Man is calling out the showrunners like he never did on GOT.
And there are larger and more toxic butterflies to come, if HOUSE OF THE DRAGON goes ahead with some of the changes being contemplated for seasons 3 and 4…

The problem is i got it from MyAnonymous, which is a Audiobook/Scanned books pirate specialist site. It is probably the most complete archive of printed media is existence, but you literally need to apply and ask questions and literally be internet-interviewed about what stuff you can put back into the database, and whether you are a tattletale b-word snitch. It's a whole ordeal, took me like 3 fricking days to finally be registered.
The jannies are turbo omega neurodivergent even compared to Reddit jannies, but are overall less political and more helpful.
But again the problem is just giving a link wont do much, you need to log into a registered account, and you have to seed back for a minimum number of days before you can download more torrents and stuff.

Ok, first of all I should actually give props to anyone who had the balls to post in there. Even good writers are easy to make fun of if you strip out the context, and it takes a lot of confidence to put yourself out there.
Now that I've taken care of that, let's dunk on some teenage edgelords to feel better about ourselves.

It is not a peaceful experience. It is not a humbling experience. It is to look upon the vastness of space and to see the marks of a creator, visible in all of its glory, but too vast for the human mind to fathom. It is to look upon the stars and to see the order in them. The reason for their existence. To touch the corners of how a mind must have thought along each step as it built up the cosmos. With purpose, but without a reason that I can comprehend.
I feel my head smash against the dashboard. It takes a moment for my eyes to open, and I can feel pain all over my body. I take a deep breath and feel newborn aches twist their way through my chest. Many shallow breaths follow, each afraid of being too strong still. The airbags did not deploy. I want to be angry but I feel too tired even for that. I move myself to get out of the car, almost involuntarily, trying to calm myself.
"Be not afraid." It says.
I turn towards the voice fast enough to feel another sharp pain jab through my side. It is the scariest moment of my life. The creature before me stands larger than any man of this Earth, easily towering over even the largest of us. It's face lays covered in eyes, with a large single orb at the center. I notice that I can still think in my terror, and that realization fills me with wonder. It smiles at me. A pleasant smile in its shape and warmth, but it rings false to me, like the smile of a beast trying to lure in its prey. It is not used to smiling, I feel the certainty of it. All of it's teeth sharp and vicious. It is the smile of a hunting beast. Upon its wings every feather is a different color, a different pattern etched in. It is not a stealthy predator, I realize. Something that must be capable of living in its environment without any danger from anything around it.
As I stare it waits. It looks back at me without blinking, with the smile still etched on its face. It is still as a statue and I cannot see even a breath escape it. This must be death. I think to myself. I died in that crash thinking about God and now Death has come to collect.
"Am I dead?"
"No." It replies and I see no movement in its mouth. I feel another chill pass through my spine, when there should have been relief.
"What are you?"
"I am an Angel."
"Why are you here?"
"I am here for you."
"For what purpose?"
"You are the prophet of this age."
I feel an involuntary giggle escape my throat. I must be dying and hallucinating in my last moments. It is the only explanation that satisfies me.
A feather falls off the wing of the Angel before me. As it touches the ground I smell fire and feel screams up my spine. The angel looks upon the feather, then looks at me, then looks back upon the feather and turns its smile upside down. It looks back at me with that saddened look now stuck upon its face. Every instinct of mine tells me it's lying. It is trying to emulate sadness for its audience. A part of me wants to run, but curiosity wins out in the end.
"Why does the feather sadden you?"
"Upon my wings is the weight of lives uncountable. Every feather that falls is the end of a world."
It is telling the truth.
I am still standing, the wounds that I had forgotten to tend to are feeling less tender now. If I were dying I expect I would have died by now. This is real. This is happening.
"Why me?"
"The prophet in all ages has been one who could see beyond any other of his time. Who was closer to the ways of God than any other being of the land. Capable of seeing things for what they were, better than any other eye."
"Why now?"
"A mind like yours is born once in millennia. You are wounded. You must move now." It points its finger towards the woods, away from civilization. Once again I wonder if I am being hunted. If I tried to run it is not like I have much of a chance of escaping it. If it wanted me dead I would be dead by now. What if it wants to torture me. I have no way of knowing. Realizing that I have nowhere else to go. I move in the direction of its finger. Passing it by as another feather falls to the ground.
