The Atlanta Journal Constitution laid out some of the findings on Romain's group and their work with a Kremlin-linked official named Aleksandr Viktorovich Ionov in a recent report.

Romain left the group in 2018 and returned to Atlanta to form the Black Hammer Party, which they used to conduct often outlandish protests around the city, including an anti-vaccine protest outside the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention during the COVID-19 epidemic, and a demonstration with members of the far-right Proud Boys in front of the CNN Center. FBI investigators said Ionov funded a number of Black Hammer activities, including a demonstration at the California headquarters of Meta, the parent company of Facebook, in March 2022 over its policies regarding content about the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The Justice Department said that in addition to protesting Meta on Russia's dime, Romain posted Russian propaganda to social media at Ionov's direction and sought Ionov's input on a news release from their organization that condemned President Joe Biden's support for Ukraine.

The other co-conspirators in this case are expected to be sentenced next week.

Boy who injected himself with a crushed butterfly mixed with water 'for online challenge' suffered horrific seven-day slow death, it is revealed - with the insect's toxins feared to be the cause of death

The fourteen-year-old boy who died after injecting himself with a crushed butterfly suffered agonising symptoms for seven days before he died, local media reports.

Davi Nunes Moreira, 14, died in hospital in Planalto, Brazil last Thursday after telling staff he had injected a solution made of crushed butterfly into his leg.

Believed to have carried out the dangerous procedure as part of an 'online challenge', Moreira began vomiting and struggled to walk before admitting his mistake.

The youngster was taken into hospital by his father and remained in the Vitória da Conquista general hospital for a week, receiving specialised support, before he died.

Last April, an online influencer from Brazil nearly required amputation after taking part in an ill-advised viral trend for her two million followers.

'Thammy MC' was left unable to walk after standing in a bucket of ice and salt for an online 'dare' that turned her feet black and nearly required the amputation of her toes.

'We spent 15 minutes with our feet on the ice with coarse salt,' she said, recounting the horror.

'When I took my foot out I never felt such pain in my life. Three of my toes had turned black when it came out of the ice bucket.'

Thammy was treated at a clinic where she was told she was at risk of thrombosis, and that she could have developed necrosis had she remained in the ice another minute.

Unable to put any pressure on her feet, she said she now gets around the house by being dragged around in a garden chair by her mother, who pushes her from room to room.

Yes, you have to escalate each report individually. No, you cannot fire them from the feed or the mod queue with your own account.

I use a very simple auto moderator script to alert the whole team when one mod is under attack, so that we can cover for each other.

You can also add your alt account to the mods. Switching accounts is faster than navigating to reddit/report in my experience.

When a janny "is under attack"

I moderate /r/veteranpolitics. As you can imagine, everything you do is a lose/lose. Unfortunately, I have had multiple reports on my account for hate based speech across the sub. You guys are more than welcome to crawl through it and make judgement, but it's just on moderation comments. I've had people putting me in a position where rule 3 is possibly being violated as well as actual hate speech that I'm removing. It's happening over multiple posts at this point and is consistent. I don't know who else to tell about this but I feel the need to tell someone. For reference I'm a 25 year old guy who hasn't shit himself since he was a kid. Anyway I got up this morning as usual, left the house to go to work and as I was approaching the train I felt the sudden urge to shit. I searched around for a cafe or something with a bathroom I could use but couldn't find anything. It happened in that moment of complete defeat. For a split second I thought I was farting, but no. Naturally I ran home as fast as I could, trying to hold my pants up as much as I could for fear of the shit (diarrhea) dripping further down my legs, and washed up, washed as much off of my butt, pants, thermal underwear, underwear and sweatpants I was wearing under my regular pants to protect myself from this horrible NYC cold. I texted my boss saying I "had a problem at home" and was gonna be about 45 min late. I put all my dirty clothes in a trash bag and will do laundry when I get home tonight.

I kinda need help coming up with an excuse for being late. I don't really know what to say and I do not want to tell them what actually happened.
