Foucault begins Discipline & Punish with the brutal execution of Damiens: an example of the stateβs open display of horrific power.

But Casanova took three women to the execution who seemed to like it a lot. One even had sex with his friend Eduardo while it happened. pic.twitter.com/V8gwcPPbUE

He's got it all wrong, he's still thinking he's speaking with someone who gives a shit about his country, when he should be pointing out that supporting Russia rather than Europe is the worst decision for the American people and their prosperity.
Below is a suggestion. Someone send this to him ASAP:
I agree that a lasting and just peace must be made. Everyone in Ukraine, Europe and the US want that. That is our goal. For that goal to be achieved, we must be strong. It's true that under President Trump we received more military support than before, in 2019. It is also true that we were invaded in 2014 and 2022 β when Trump wasn't in office. When Trump was in office, Putin did not dare make such moves. And why is that? Because he was afraid of the consequences of crossing Trump and violating the sovereignty of an American ally while Trump was in office. He knew America is strong.
That's why when a peace deal is made, it can only last with a strong Ukraine, or else the deal will be violated. Unfortunately, Trump can't remain in the whitehouse forever, and that's why we want security guarantees. I think that Trump will have an everlasting legacy of being the peace president, who achieved peace through strength. The strength of the US economy and weapons manufacturing is the envy of the world, and Europe is happy to buy their systems because America is a reliable partner.
Again, Trump provided Javelins back in 2019, and who knows where we'd be if not for them.
So I agree with Trump and Vance that a diplomatic solution must be achieved and that a strong America and strong Ukraine is one of those prerequisites. So that the peace will last not just 4 years but 100 or a thousand years. There are several ways to achieve that. Weapons deals, economic deals. We must secure the existence of Ukranians and the Ukrainian state.
I may add that what makes America prosperous is its' strength and unity, just like how after world war 2 the allies that America supported, with free market against communism β in Europe, South Korea and Japan β those were all prospering while the USSR crumbled under its' own weight under the leadership of leaders who only appeared strong on the outside, while the inside was crumbling.
America and Europe are natural allies, they have strong institutions, free trade, free speech and free people. Naturally, the American people understand that strong and productive allies whom they can trade with are much better partners than allies who don't respect boundaries and peace deals. Poor and weak nations that rely on North Korean support, or ride donkeys into battles.
When thinking about who to support, the American people overwhelmingly like to support those who share their values and have been together for 80 years, than the ones are their geopolitical rivals.
Europe has hundreds of millions of people, and many trillions and trillions in economic output. You, mr president, have woke them up and told them they have to be strong by themselves. And I agree. We have to be strong. For that, they're willing to spend many billions in the US economy by buying weapon systems, boosting millions American jobs.
The economic aid that the US has given to its' allies is another reason why Europe kept America as its' reliable trading partner.
Now Trump wants to make America stronger than ever, he doesn't want to have the European nations be free riders. And he's right.
In helping Europe today face the existential threats facing them, Trump is ensuring American alliances are strong, and trillions in free trade.
That's why the American people voted for him. To make America prosperous. And what better way is there to prosperity than having a strong hegemony?
Idk I just shat this out use Claude or whatever to make it better
