So I'm at work and I'm about to start working a different schedule than the one I've been on for the past few months. This is all well and good, and I've known about it for several months at this point. As the day of the change approaches I'm talking to my manager about some other stuff and he says "By the way what was your new schedule again? Because what you told me the last time we talked about it doesn't match what's in the system."
Turns out someone fricked up the paperwork and my new schedule in the system is slightly off from what was in the announcement months back. While slightly less convenient, it's barely different from what I was already expecting so I'm thinking okay whatever. I just really really REALLY need my time off requests that I put in forever ago adjusted to match the new schedule.
Apparently this is not a simple ask. I got pulled into chief HR's office at the end of the day and was informed that the issue had been passed all the way up to corporate legal and they were going to offer to honor the schedule I was originally presented with in the announcement "as a gesture of goodwill (please don't sue us)". I declined and made it clear that I reeeeeaaaaallly don't give a shit about the minor schedule adjustment, I just need my PTO moved. Response was "we technically still can't force that through, you'll have to get $other_department to override it for you if you decide to keep the adjusted schedule."
So now the shitty part is that I know exactly who fricked up the paperwork and I'm worried that I've made enemies out of her entire chain of command. And all for nothing, because I still don't have a guarantee that I'll get my time off. I just wanted my fricking PTO fixed.
This is at a fortune 100 megacorp (doebeit at a very low level because I am an unambitious lazy r-slur).

You can just go into reddit subs and suggest that theyβre nazis if they havenβt banned Twitter links and they roll over. I literally have a chudjak pfp and I got r/xxfitness (3 million subscribers) to ban them in 6 minutes with 0 effort.

a nuclear incident relating to Israel somehow.
Will it happen in Israel?
We're all going to die in a nuclear war, but I tend to think it will happen some place we never imagined. I mean read this if you mongoloid zoomers are capable of following a command: You are in way more danger of being killed in a nuclear war than we were in the Cuban Missile Crisis. The technology is a little different, you can talk about propellants and kilotons and throw weight, but humanity is fricked.
That's basically it. After the authorization is given, it's just a couple zoomers from Tacoma (jfc I like these kids but the fate of the world...) pushing a couple buttons and 80% of Russians will die. And they would only do this if the other side had already done the same to us.
Kids like me assumed it would be the evil commies who started it. You look at Soviet planning and they were hoping it didn't go nuclear because we would have beat the shit out of them and kept more radioactive ruins. This is the situation we're in right now. (Europeans it will be MRBMs, don't play like you're not in it.) All of that "campy" stuff about fallout shelters? Well it'll be really campy slowly die from radiation poisoning and get eaten by crows, you dumb b-word. And then the crows die, so even in contribute nothing to the world.
I cannot emphasize to you r-slurs enough. Somebody could push a button and in 30 minutes all your FunkoPops, Nintendo shit, whatever shit you console r-slurs like, will be gone. Now I'm a total sperg and I can sit down with you and tell you what things in the house survived, but you're gonna wish you were dead. And that isn't crazy old r-slur Redactor, that's Distubingly Calm Redactor who has read all of these books.
I dunno who drops it first or what reason they had but the fallout that kills you ain't gonna give a shit either.

I'm a petty beefy guy. Have been for most of my adult life. I'm changing my eating and hitting the gym again to get healthy, but I don't think I'll ever be super thin again.
There seem to be a decent amount of men who find plus size women sexy, which I think is fantastic. But as a man, I can't say that my experience has been proportional or at all similar. Outside of fetish communities, I've not encountered a woman who was sincerely attracted to someone with my body type, and thats... hard.
I don't want to be a fetish. I don't want to be in a feeder-type relationship. I want to be healthy, but I also accept that healthiness for me might still be a hefty body type. The BHM communities I've found on reddit are very sexually oriented. I'm not here to kink shame anyone, but that's just not me.
I'm a man with a deep capacity for love and connection. I'm very connected to my feelings and really would like to find a meaningful relationship based on mutual interest, attraction, and compatible personalities.
I just don't know where to find women who would be interested in dating a guy like me. The apps are out. So are the popular dating sites. I just feel like modern dating isn't made for the plus sized man.
Does anyone have some good advice for me? I'm a 46 year old man, who at this point, is kind of at a loss.

To discuss your weekly readings of books, textbooks and papers.
I'm reading "Petersburg" as part of our book club, but because it's a one chapter per week basis I started "Brothers Karamazov" this week as I never read it before and I recently got a wonderful edition by Editora 34 (the only Dostoevsky book I had read was C&P).
So far I wonder if terrible fathers are just a recurrent theme on Dostoevsky's works.
@Aevann can you
