We all have seen the events at the inauguration and having different thoughts about what Elon did, but I want to point to what they are doing with policy rather than one moment.

Trump is an Authoritarian leader. He wants control of everything, media, education, the economy, global politics. There will never be a point where he will be satisfied.

Before you know it, project 2025 will not just be the lefts boogie man but an actual threat to our safety and civil rights.

Trump will continue to push the most radical right wing beliefs onto our country until he has full control. One thing at a time, MAGA as a party will tear down each law in favor of the rich and powerful.

MAGA thrives on misinfor.ation and the suppression of education, and it will only get worse. The more you people chose to ignore the more MAGA will take from us. First is was Row V Wade, then it will be birthright citizenship. What about marriage equality? Nothing is off the table for Trump anymore. He's made it clear, but for someone reason, his followers don't speak the same language and misconstrue the truth.

Look, I wanted trump to win the election, but it wasn't because I think he's any kind of good guy. I know he's a whiny, loser pig, though I'm appreciating this more serious Trump over his last iteration..

I wanted Trump to win because I knew we needed some conservative counterbalance back. I'm not a leftist anymore, and it's because I don't agree with all of their positions. They are not my party when they refuse to capitulate to any sort of middle ground, so they have to be forced. I hope conservatives keep it cool, too, or else I'll have to stand against them all over again.

Our politics are not half as simple as they were 20 years ago. It was easy to be a leftist when conservative Christianity was forcing people to deny their own humanity. What I didn't know is that the left is just as capable of acting the same way.

For those of you not in the know, Black Jeopardy is a recurring SNL sketch in which the trivia categories are replaced with Black slang,. Naturally, many of the jokes use Black stereotypes as the punchline, so you'd think rightoids would love this. Sadly, the chuds of the moment are too thin-skinned to appreciate this.

8 years ago, Tom Hanks joined Black Jeopardy as Doug, a Trump supporter (hick) who fits into the show perfectly due to a shared distrust of elites, but is reluctant to shake the host's hand.

Recently, as part of the 50th Anniversary, SNL did another Black Jeopardy. It was the least funny one so far, but that's not important. At the end, Doug appears and does the same thing as before (getting a question right, is reluctant to shake the host's hand).

Rightoids were not having this, proclaiming and finding common ground to be instead to mockery of all rightoids, and an expression of the liberal elite's pure contempt for them.

President Ross has left the the hulk buster life behind. He's now a greying aging president who needs pills before every speech. He talks about togetherness, progress, and building the future better, while US allies mock him for being weak and indecisive. He ultimately resigns from office after being tainted with a massive scandal for the good of the nation.

Shockingly President Hulk is not a Trump allegory like many seething critics claimed, but in fact Joe Biden, which helps explain Harrison Ford's especially lethargic performance. Beyond this funny reveal the movie is mostly a bland take on the Manchurian Candidate concept with above average action for MCU standards. The film kinda flirts with the black communities hatred of Biden and Kamala but has the black guy sleeper president hulk imprisoned forgive him at the end so its okay i guess.

Captain America has a zoomer sidekick who says fr alot and other zoomerisms and there is still cringe MCU script humor.

Overall its a mediocre 5/10. Movie bob was right !bobmob this movie is about as good as Captain America Civil war and other MCU movies the only difference is political sneed is causing critics to actually rate these movies accurately for once. Its a 5/10 and most MCU movies fall in the 4-6 range

!kino for my money the worst marvel movies is The Avengers, a near plotness movie with no charm, character development or theme. A mindless series of mediocre fight scenes with some truly ugly color grading which makes everything look faker then a tv cop drama.

I (19F ) have had acne for so long that I honestly can't remember my skin without it. I used to wear a lot of concealer to cover it up, but that only made things worse. Eventually, I realized my skin was controlling my life (and draining my bank account 💀), so when I started at a new school, I decided to stop wearing makeup . My skin still isn't great, but I'm on medication, so I have some hope that it will improve.

Here's the problem: There's a girl in my class, let's call her Callie (18F ), who has trypophobia [is r-slurred]. I had no idea until we were put in a group together. The moment I spoke to her, she started crying. Naturally, I asked what was wrong, and she screamed at me that my face was triggering her trypophobia . Her friends immediately jumped in to comfort her while I just sat there, confused, wondering if I was supposed to apologize for my skin, something I obviously didn't choose to have .

When I tried to speak again, she told me to shut up and leave because I was " drawing attention to myself by talking. " I asked what she expected me to do about it, and she said I could at least wear concealer. I explained that it wasn't an option because it's expensive and just worsens my acne. Her friends glared at me and called me selfish .

That was just the first incident. Ever since, anytime I sit near Callie or have to present in front of the class, she starts dry heaving or crying (having a panic attack?) . It's disrupting lessons so much that my teacher pulled me aside and asked if I could just wear concealer for the sake of keeping the peace. She admitted it wasn't fair but said she couldn't think of another solution.

I already feel like such a freak because of my skin. I know my skin is horrid, but why am I the one expected to cater to Callie? I didn't choose to have acne any more than she chose to have trypophobia. I can't help but feel like I'm being unfairly treated here, but at the same time, I know she can't control her reaction either.

So… AITA? Should I just wear the darn concealer?
