Lent is at an end and today we solemnly remember Christ’s sacrifice for all of mankind, despite our infinite flaws. On the holiest day, Easter, we celebrate His resurrection, but today is in memory of His death. Today is also the traditional beginning of St. Faustina Kowalska’s Divine Mercy novena. You can, of course, start any novena at any time, but worship is meant to be communal and novenas are no different.

The Divine Mercy novena is somewhat unique in that it has nine intentions built into it, though you’re welcome to substitute any or all of them for different intentions, either for yourself or others.

The unofficial rDrama Diocese will be praying this novena every day at noon EST (UTC-4), though if that isn’t a good time for you, any time in the day (or night!) is also just fine.

The Pray app is very good for keeping up with novenas in general. iOS users can download it here and I’m not sure how to get the Android link, but it can presumably be downloaded from their website with the Get App link. It’s free, obviously.

That two lower courts said the flag in Boston was government speech should be telling. That the Court was unanimous is also telling - law, common sense and any reasonableness are long gone.
