After Week 5's constant surprises, Week 6 had basically no surprises and barely any close games. I'm 12-2 on the week for predictions, pending the MNF games. Lots of better teams bullying weaker teams and racking up points to add insult to an L.
Literally me to every Cowboys fan this week.NFC North is still better than your division
15 Games this week and 2 teams on a bye (Bears and the Cowboys)- TNF, Yet another London game featuring the Jaguars (the English deserve this caliber of football), 7 early Sunday games, 3 afternoon games, 1 Sunday primetime, and 2 MNF. Vikings and Chiefs at 5-0 are coming off the bye to face probably their toughest opponents so far in the Lions and 49ers. I feel safe in saying we have a less predictable set of games this week.
Because the Bears are on a bye, here's Caleb William's funniest pass
News:
I'm seeing rumors that the Steelers might be benching Fields in favor or Russel Wilson and Twitter is reacting with confusion.
Other Business:
@BasicallyADoxxer will have the college football games
Finally for those keeping track, here's a excel spreadsheet I've been using to track gambling wins/losses. Column A has the winner of their matchup (listed in the same order I list them for this thread, B is the gross Payout , C needs to be filled with a 1 if you won that bet, and a 0 if you lost. So it will be easy to track your weekly and seasonal gains/losses. Prior threads: week 1, week 2, week 3, week 4, week 5, week 6.

Georgia - 1,000 total betted - WINNER!
Texas - 1,600 total betted
This is Texas's biggest home game since eons ago. This will also be Texas's biggest test to date. Win this one, and you are comfortably showing everyone that you truly are the team to beat this season. Ticket prices for this game is off the charts. This is going to be a very brutal and interesting game to watch. Georgia really needs this one to event remain in the conversation of playoffs. They need this one much more than Texas does. Ewers showed moments of subpar decision making last week against Oklahoma, but still played a relatively good game. Fortunately for the Longhorns, their offensive line matches up really well against UGA's front 7. UGA also has a clear problem with its secondary, allowing a boatload of points to Alabama and even against Mississippi State. On paper, Texas is just way too dominant, but you can never count out a Kirby Smart coached team. This is definitely going to be a game that you want to see. Massive playoff implications on this one right here.

Alabama - 1,400 total betted
Tennessee - 600 total betted - WINNER!
Welcome to the 2024 Fraud Bowl. What a time in college football to be claiming that these teams are on major fraud watch alert, yet here we are. Alabama dodged another upset to South Carolina, and that was much more on SCAR making critical mistakes over and over again rather than Alabama outplaying them. Tennessee also had a major scare at home against a struggling Gator team, winning in Overtime that was also more due to Billy Napier's ridiculous coaching than actual playing. As such, we are bound to witness a banger of a game between two SEC teams that do not look very good right now. As of now, AP voters are still reluctant on dropping either teams. This will change drastically after this week. One of these teams will be dropping pretty low on the next Top 25 list. Alabama still has the best win of the year over UGA, but even this quality win may get diminished this week as we head on over to the Game of The Week...

Nebraska - 600 total betted
Indiana - 1,000 total betted - WINNER!
Indiana tied with Oregon and Penn State as #1 in the B1G...just as we all predicted... I don't know what they're feeding to the players down there, but their offense has been off the charts. In just their previous 4 games alone, they've outscored their opponents 177-79. That's kinda absurd. This week, they host Nebraska, also a very dangerous team. Their sole loss came from a nailbiter in OT against ranked Illinois. I still feel that Nebraska is underrated. Raiola is a true freshman, but the guy shows massive potential, something that Nebraska fans hasn't had in years. I'd expect this game to be wild, with both games being offensively fast paced. Hopefully after the bye week, Raiola would show more poise in the pocket, as he will need to in a difficult road game.

Miami - 1,000 total betted - WINNER!
Louisville - 400 total betted
Miami can't keep getting away with it....right? After some interesting wins from California and Virginia Tech, you can't help but question Miami's ability to win games down the line. Louisville might not be ranked, but they're still a very dangerous team, and the Hurricanes are playing them at home. This game could easily go south and may very well result in Miami's first loss of the season. However, Cam Ward is a straight baller and can also easily carry Miami to another win. Maybe this time, we can all watch some quality ball instead of a ref show....But I can't deny it makes the games super entertaining to watch. Especially since the previous two were 4th quarter nailbiters. We could be seeing another one this week.

Notre Dame - 1,600 total betted - WINNER!
Georgia Tech - 200 total betted
Well well well, looks Like GA Tech is projecting high again. After losing to Louisville, the Yellowjackets managed to beat previous undefeated Duke before beating North Carolina in a banger. Now, they get to host their biggest game yet, against the Fighting Irish. Notre Dame has a had a good couple of weeks to get Riley Leonard sharper. He's looked massively improved during these past couple of games. Now it's time to really show what he's been working on. Be prepared for a Georgia Tech offense that hopes to move the ball well against a really talented ND secondary. This is going to be the best team that the Irish has faced since playing the TAMU Aggies back in August.

Oklahoma State - 400 total betted
BYU - 800 total betted - WINNER!
Sending out one missing persons report for a certain Ollie Gordon II.....This man has been absolutely absent after coming off of a very nice season last year. Don't really understand Oklahoma State's decision to rely on Alan Pickman and not their ground game, but I also get it because their offensive line is not good. However, they're going to need him as they travel to play a dangerous BYU team this week. BYU is one of the best teams in the country. They annihilated Arizona last week and already has wins over ranked SMU and Kansas State. This team looks unstoppable right now, as they are playing great ball on both sides. This is going to be a great game to tune into.

LSU - 1,000 total betted - WINNER!
Arkansas - 600 total betted
LSU came off an exciting week in Death Valley, winning in OT by a touchdown against Ole Miss. However, their stretch of rough games has only begun. Now, LSU is travelling to Fayetteville to play a Razorbacks team that not only just had their bye week, but also pulled off an upset to defeat a Top-10 Tennessee team the week before. Needless to say, this game is going to be a tough one for the Tigers. The Razorback's defensive front is really good, containing the rush and dialing up pressure on the QB. Nussmeier shows trouble, as evident last week, when the pocket collapses, and Arkansas is really good at dialing these plays. As such, LSU really needs its offensive line to step up this week. Arkansas is in a very good position to further improve its resume.

Charlotte - 200 total betted
Navy - 1,400 total betted - WINNER!
Navy is here. Navy is inevitable. What a time for college football to have both Army AND Navy both ranked in the same week. Both as undefeated too. Navy is looking to continue to remain undefeated in conference play. Their opponent this week, however, is much more tough than Army's. Charlotte may be 3-3, but they are currently undefeated in conference play. They just came off of a 55-24 win of East Carolina. That's a lotta points. Will be awesome to see if Navy can continue to play great offensive ball, especially since a Notre Dame matchup looms in the horizon..
