I have gradually accumulated this 2025 year of skincare spares from dollar tree. Their glow recipe dupes are amazing, too! I love the collagen line (blue containers and droppers). If anyone has skincare questions, hmu!

First Anna goes off on discount Anna Kasparian (Emma something, the r-slurred host of pod save america or similar podcast, doesn't matter which one they're all the same):
I remember Emma telling me, verbatim "I never have to work a day in my life if I don't want to" because of how wealthy her family is. Your mom threw a nice little fundraiser for Sen. Gillibrand in 2019, right? I get why you're so attached to a party that fricked over the working⦠https://t.co/zbFeRiWkFv

Then some dumbass tried to pin her as jealous of... hasan the r-slurred host of pod save america (all the same, doesn't matter)
At least sheβs doing the workβ¦ werenβt you also jealous of Hasan..?
β Dieter (@Bukniak) February 2, 2025
Well, surprise, that dude hasan is the nephew (actual nephew, not an nword euphemism) of Anna's long time co-host Chunk Yoghurt and she spills the beans on how he's scared of his viewers and secretly hates them
Hasan is a slave to his audience. I've never seen a man more terrified of the people who watch his streams. I would never be jealous of that. https://t.co/0YfEMSCpMb
β Ana Kasparian (@AnaKasparian) February 2, 2025
I made a joke ONCE about how I'd like to just play video games and make millions and these morons took it literally. I would rather scrub pottys than be Hasan. He's glued to a computer for 8+ hours a day, placating an audience I know for a fact he hates. Maybe don't open up to⦠https://t.co/XpQmpg1aWI

"When I was 13"
"When I was 14"
"When I was 15"
"When I had s*x"
"I lost my virginity"
"I weighed around"
And sort by oldest
Thanks for that story carp

I'd only been talking to this girl for like a day, she asked me about my weekend. For context, my week before had been super busy so I wasn't looking to do a ton of social activities last weekend just a nice, chill couple of days. I clearly cracked a joke about the fact that it was kind of a boring weekend, but I never expected her to reply like this
___
Reddit is split on whether she is being ironically edgy or whether she really wants him to end his own life.

I remember when I first joined it was kind of cheeky and irreverent, and it still seemed plausible that women posted here. But it's become progressively more shallow and heartless. I mean I can't be the only one picking up on this, right? "The worst thing about DOGE is how soy it all is"? We can't just express outrage at immorality anymore, every criticism must be given through the lens of haughty indifference and framed around coolness or lack thereof. I think some people here have genuinely replaced their concept of wrong and right with cringe/not cringe and never stopped to consider how cruel and purposeless it could make them.
every criticism must be given through the lens of haughty indifference and framed around coolness or lack thereof
Quick question did you ever listen to the pod? Like even one clip or so?
People actually listen to Rspod?!
Gooooood, for the 100,000th time - this is a unique sub and one of the only decent culture/current events subs on reddit, the podcast sucks shit so most people here either never listened or stopped listening in 2019 (me). I used to like A&D but in the last five years one became a Fox News dork and the other is hawking a shit coin, they've changed. That being said, what drew me to them and this sub in the first place was their critique/thoughts on the overly woke/grifter left and establishment liberals. What I and many didn't know back in 2018 was A&D are insecure dorks who just adopt whatever ideology they currently find chic/edgy, and as soon as Bernie/progressive politics became boring they moved onto the next thing. But a lot of us here have beliefs based on morality/ethics/what we find to be true, so here we are
Tldr: "I have never and will never engage with the content this sub is about but here's how it should be run."
Anyways I thought this was a fun thread. The commenters even got OP to self delete out of shame.

A federal judge, in a ruling late Friday evening, has denied an effort to block the Department of Government Efficiency from accessing sensitive data from the Department of Labor.
During the hearing, the plaintiffs' attorneys argued that if DOGE accessed DOL data, it would cause irreparable harm to their clients.
However, in his ruling, Bates found that the plaintiffs did not show that "at least one particular member is substantially likely to suffer an injury at the hands of the defendant."
Fricking wrecked.
