For context, if you use the progressive stack award, your posts are (temporarily) treated as if they have 2x their actual upmarseys. This was thought of as so powerful by the jannies that it costs 1500 coins for just 6 hours. Now, if you make a post that gets 140 upmarseys, and at the same time someone makes an effortpost
that gets 30 upmarseys, or chud ragebait that gets 50 upmarseys, your post will actually be below them on the front page. In fact, since upmarseys are basically normally distributed (getting 30 upmarseys is pretty average, getting 90 makes yours one of the top posts of the day, getting 150 would make it the top post of the day), any sort of multiplier would change the content of the front page immensely, let alone a multiplier so large it treats mediocre
effortposts
and slightly above average chud ragebait as superior to the actual top post as chosen by users.
The fact that /h/chudrama is blocked by default is irrelevant, because most active users have it unblocked, so even if you block /h/chudrama every post you make is still effectively being deranked. And besides, there are plenty of people who want to read /h/chudrama and not have it be literally the only thing they see on the front page

I don't care about anything in the war beyond America getting stuff as its rightful clay is the world
BUT a lot of other people, especially other R-SLURRED people, do
On Reddit you see constant fighting and SLAVA UKRAINI and how they do no wrong killing wounded and commit crimes
On Twitter you see ZZZZZ ZZZ ZZ Z ZZ Z
And russia shit when they also kill wounded and commit crimes
It leads to a bunch of armchair generals and sudden hidden genius economists to appear and give their highly educated and totally correct take based literally just on what some guy said.
And the drama pull is so good we got r-slurred here spending hours a day arguing!
Anytime a thread slightly mentions ukraine you see @QuadNarca
@WeihnachtenSalvador
@fedposter and a bunch of others fight and argue over something an ocean away from them (or whatever the distance India is to Russia for half the spergs)
Even on WPD people are fighting over whose "more moral" and why one is better to make them morally superior despite all the posters being gore freaks.
Now that the war might be nearing an end though, it will be really sad to see the arguing disappear, no more picking fights or watching the most takes

A classical Greek tragedy about hard work, big egos, and French culture.
His fanatical attention to detail, frenetic work ethic, and discerning palate, propelled him to the top of his profession, and earned him a knowledgeable and loyal, but unforgiving and demanding clientele.
In the late 1990s, a new form of Asian-inspired "fusion cuisine" swept France, catering to an international corporate class and pleasing trend-driven "foodies" (a neologism of the movement), which Loiseau resisted.
Loiseau was downgraded from 19/20 to 17/20 in the Gault et Millau guide and received a strong negative media review from the gastronomic critic François Simon in the newspaper Le Figaro, but he still had his three stars in the Michelin Guide. Criticism continued to pour in and the media speculated about a possible future loss of a Michelin star.
But on February 24, 2003, the chef finished his lunchtime service, rolled up his apron and drove home. Telling his ten-year old son – one of three children – to go and play outside, he went upstairs, locked the bedroom door and shot himself in the head with a hunting rifle, a present from his wife.
After his death, three-star chef Jacques Lameloise said Loiseau had once confided, "If I lose a star, I'll kill myself".
Derek Brown, Michelin director at the time, said: "The idea of telling him about the concerns we had about some of his cooking was in order to give him an opportunity to consider whether he wanted to do something about it, which he did, as it turned out."
All in all, a messy story sparking many debates about whether reviewers should really be brutally honest, and if they are unfairly harsh. Perhaps it inspired Ratatouille (2007)?

Upon reflection, February 24 SHOULD be a Holiday of sorts (even a Second Day for Love in addition to Valentine's Day), because the day, to me at least, just FEELS like a Holiday, in addition to it being my Birthday. I have looked it up before, and it is some sort of forgettable (Holi)day in Mexico or somewhere. February 24 Should have More Significance and Recognition like a Holiday.
