So 2 weeks ago I found out that my 5 year old isn't biologically mine, I felt so hurt and betrayed that my wife of 6 years relationship for 9 cheated on me and even got pregnant by another man, I took a paternity test without telling my wife

She said she had doubts that I wouldn't be the father but she never took paternity she said she was happy seeing me happy and didn't go with abortion for peace of our family and didn't tell me the truth

I told her I am divorcing and I don't want to be in our son's life, she started crying and begging me to not break the family and I am still his father and I have been a wonderful father and a husband I should forgive her and don't let 'dna' Destroy our lives and started begging me

I immediately left and she was blowing up my phone, I decided at first not to tell anyone else but in the end I got very angry and decided to tell everyone, everyone is pissed at my wife

It seems like there's more going on here than was said unless I missed subsequent posts. OP may need a divorce from his wife but if he's truly been a father to the boy then that wouldn't change. I sympathize with OP and have no idea wha he's going through (well maybe a suspicion - wife of 20y decided she was cheated out of her party years and needed to go live her best life).

Otoh I now have an amazing beautiful wife (14y relationship, 12y marriage) with many sons and daughters. Only a couple are my biologicals. I have a pack of grandchildren, none related by blood. I love my circus and all my monkeys - and make no mistake they are mine, all of them. I especially love the ankle biters. Some of them are still confused as to how they have 3 grandpas but they'll figure it out in time.

I feel a need to say this: Granted, there was no infidelity associated in my case afaik but if I found/find out one of my biologicals is actually not, well then frick my ex and frick that guy. I am their father and they will never know loyalty and love like I have for them. My ex would be at fault and more so for hiding it but I don't think it would affect me and my kids. All my kids know my love and support isn't conditional. We may argue, fight, but I've tried to make it clear with all my children - we can always start over with a clean slate and I am always here if they made a mistake and they need help to right it. It's not always easy or pleasant but nothing is strong enough to drive me away from them (I hope they'll always give me the same opportunity when IATAH).

I wasn't planning on checking it out initially because remakes are rarely done well and to be sure this one is indeed not as good as the original. BUT it is not a bland remake like the Kenshin remake or Urusei Yatsura remake . It has a cutesy style and its pacing is arguably better than the original. It's more manga accurate which I think helps a lot with the pacing. It's also pretty refreshing to see an MC with some personality in a romcom for once.

Some negatives:

1. The nudity that Ranma 1/2 is famous for is neutered. We are given this weird Barbie doll anatomy which is just awkward.

2. The music is lacklustre . It's not bad, just adequate.

3. Do not expect action choreography like this (although, some of other smaller fights are well animated)

Biologists on Midway Atoll in the North Pacific Ocean have spotted a septuagenarian female Laysan albatross named Wisdom flirting with potential mates months after the end of the nesting season.

The world's oldest known wild bird is courting new mates on a remote island off Hawaii after potentially losing her lifelong sweetheart, researchers say.

The female albatross, nicknamed Wisdom, is likely in her 70s and has been cruising around the North Pacific Ocean since the Eisenhower administration, according to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS).

Biologists first identified Wisdom in 1956 and put a band on her right leg that is still attached today. The albatross was already mature when she was banded, meaning she could be 72 years old — two decades older than the average lifespan of her species.

"Wisdom, the world's oldest known wild bird, was photographed again last month on Midway Atoll National Wildlife Refuge, dancing with potential mates," representatives of the Pacific Region of the USFWS wrote in a Facebook post. "Her long-term mate, Akeakamai, has yet to be seen and was absent the last two nesting seasons, too."

Laysan albatrosses (Phoebastria immutabilis), known as mōlī in Hawaiian, are long-living seabirds that pair for life with a single mate. They are named after a breeding colony of 145,000 pairs on Laysan, one of the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands located 930 miles (1,500 kilometers) northwest of Honolulu.

Female Laysan albatrosses usually lay a single egg in the first half of December, but Wisdom was still participating in mating dances well into spring, said Jonathan Plissner, the supervisory wildlife biologist at Midway Atoll National Wildlife Refuge, a nature reserve 1,310 miles (2,110 km) northwest of Honolulu.

Midway Atoll, or Kuaihelani in Hawaiian, hosts the biggest colony of Laysan albatrosses in the world, with 600,000 breeding pairs returning to its two sandy islands every year.

"She was actively courting other birds in March," Plissner told USFWS representatives in an email.

Wisdom has made sporadic appearances at Midway Atoll since the beginning of the nesting season in late November 2023. Plissner doesn't expect Wisdom to nest this year but said "she is quite spry for a septuagenarian," in a post on the social platform X.

USFWS scientists estimate the elderly albatross has flown 3.5 million miles (5.6 million km) in her lifetime — the equivalent of 7 round trips to the Moon. Laysan albatrosses start breeding when they are 3 to 4 years old, according to the American Bird Conservancy, suggesting Wisdom has laid up to 60 eggs in her lifetime, roughly half of which may have hatched to produce fledglings while the other half may have failed or been lost to predators.

Between nesting seasons, Wisdom spends nearly half the year at sea, soaring across the Pacific Ocean sky for hours on end without a single flap of her narrow, 3-foot-long (0.9 m) wings. Like other Laysan albatrosses, she likely fuels her long flights by feeding on small squid, flying fish eggs, fish and crustaceans.

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk --- the world's wealthiest man --- has come out harshly against undocumented immigrants since becoming one of former President Donald Trump's biggest donors and campaign surrogates. But a new report reveals that he launched his career in the United States without legal status.

The Washington Post is now reporting that Musk was illegally staying in the U.S. on a student visa despite dropping out of school. While Musk, who is from South Africa, emigrated to attend Stanford University, he called his department chair shortly after the fall 1995 semester began to inform him that he wouldn't be attending classes.

At that point, Musk was legally obligated to leave the United States, according to the Post. But instead, he illegally overstayed his visa while building his first company, Zip2 (originally called the Global Link Information Network).

Eventually, venture capital firm Mohr Davidow Ventures made a $3 million investment into Zip2 in 1996. Upon learning that both Musk and his brother, Kimbal, didn't have legal status to be in the United States, the funding agreement included a clause that stipulated Mohr could claw back its investment if the two didn't obtain a legal work visa within 45 days.

"Their immigration status was not what it should be for them to be legally employed running a company in the U.S.," Zip2 board member Derek Proudian told the paper. "We don't want our founder being deported."

Because U.S. immigration records aren't public, determining when Musk's immigration status changed is difficult to ascertain. However, the Post cited two different biographers who wrote that Mohr ultimately arranged for an attorney to line up visas for both Elon and Kimbal Musk in 1996. This means both he and his brother were technically illegal immigrants for the better part of a year. This is particularly noteworthy, as Elon Musk has used his social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to regularly launch attacks against and spread disinformation about undocumented immigrants.

"*llegals in America can get bank loans, mortgages, insurance, driver's licenses, free healthcare (California & New York) and in-state college tuition," Musk tweeted in February. "What's the point of being a citizen if an illegal gets all the benefits, but doesn't pay taxes or do jury duty?"

The Post's reported that Musk's colleagues confirmed that he drove a car during the period in which he was in the United States illegally, meaning he would have needed both a driver's license and auto insurance in order to do so. The report also confirms what Kimbal Musk said in a 2013 interview, when saying that he and his brother "were illegal immigrants" when their company landed the $3 million investment from Mohr. Elon didn't use that exact phrasing, but rather said that their status "was a grey area."

Despite making a promise in March to refrain from endorsing a presidential candidate, Elon Musk has not only appeared onstage with Trump, but is now his second-biggest campaign donor. Forbes reported earlier this week that Musk has donated roughly $118 million to a pro-Trump super PAC. His largesse is outpaced only by Timothy Mellon, who had given $150 million to the former president's 2024 bid for the White House.
